Oh....OK! Once again you are another one of those that are in textbook violation of rule 222454 which states "thou shalt not post useless knowledge that others already know unless there is a question posed" Please revise your question/statement and try again. Thank you for using the CLutchBBS System...........Also, Clutch...how bout startin up a Rudy Sucks Forum..........people are in dire need.
Well, there might be some people at work, who don't have access to the game. They probably know the 3-guard lineup sucks, but they probably didn't know we were starting with it. Lighten up man. If you really hate this thread, don't bring it up to the top by responding.
Don't forget that Moochie had 15 points 12 assists. Also, Steve's 20,9, and 4.. Damn that three guard lineup. Its really bringing us down.
Well, I'm pretty sure Rudy went with the three-guard lineup because the Wizards play a three-guard lineup. He didn't want Kenny guarding Jordan, and quite frankly, neither did I.
Damn that 3 guard lineup!!! Moochie Norris: 15 pts 12 ast 8 reb Steve Francis: 20 pts 4 ast 9 reb Cuttino Mobley: 31 pts 3 ast 6 reb 2 stl
Okay, I deserve this one but who else wants to see this as a regular lineup. It may have worked this time but I expect it to fail more than I expect it to work. Unfortunately since we won we will see it as our regular lineup. I am far more interested in winning with EG as a starter than Moochie. Who is to say that we would have lost with EG starting? I watched the game and Mooch played well but he was getting burned on the defensive side badly. A big reason we won was because of Catos and EGs defense at the end of the game not because of the three guard lineup.
I agree with you WB. It's funny how quickly these guys rips you for using common sense. With this 3-guard lineup, we can win the NBA title.
Bro, chill a little. I think that Rudy clearly went with this line up to help the Rox match up better. They face the Bucks next, so he may start Eddie guarding the Big Dog. Assuming that Big Dog plays. Then they have Cat on Allen, Francis on E.T., and Griffin on Robinson. If Rudy continues to start this lineup, and they continue to lose with the lineup, then you should b****. Otherwise, be glad that the Rockets got a road win against a fairly good team.
The three guard lineup stopped one of the greatest players of all time. The guards outplayed Washington's guards, and that's all that matters. Will it always work? No. Was it worth a shot? Of course. I'd rather see Griffin out there starting than either KT or Cato, though, in terms of working towards the future. Seems to do much better starting than coming off of the bench.
Boy, I understand what you mean but did you honestly want to see KT or EG line up against Jordan to start the game??? Mooch wasn't getting burned. They left Chris Whitney open on purpuse. Better him to burn you than Jordan. That is a common technique in the NBA and the Rockets often allow the lesser player out there to beat them.
Mooch was getting burned by Rip Hamilton not Whitney. Steve was guarding Whitney. I think KT could have covered Jordan just fine. KT did a great job on McGrady the other night and Jordan is an easier cover than McGrady.
I do not know why so many people believe KT has lead feet. Yes I would want KT to go against MJ. It worked out but there is nothing to say it would not have worked out the other way. If MJ was more aggressive offensively and not passive, like he said, Mobes would be nowhere close to those fadeways. The bottomline for me is that the 3-guard lineup is a gimmick; it will get us nowhere. Similarly, we will get nowhere when he plays so many people 43+ minutes instead of continuing to expose and develop the youngsters.
EG did not start for good reason...poor matchup. When he finally did play, he was not effective...that's why he only played 20 min. It's all about matchups. KT is needed for rebounds. If he's guarding Jordan, he won't get any boards cause he'll pull him out on the floor. I highly doubt we'll see the 3-guard lineup to start many games except where we're forced to matchup...like this time. Rudy, I commend you for a well coached game.
