I know we've talke about the migraine issue a lot, but I just read SI and I believe Rudy said that Francis has had migraines in all but one game he has played this year. So I guess this hasn't just been a major issue the last few weeks for him. Makes his performance all the more remarkable.
Typical Rudy exaggerating to make his players look good. This is exactly why players want to play for him. DD
I just hear Francis say after a few games that it was nice to not have a migraine. I would be shocked if he had one for all but one game. Plus Rudy is known for this. DD
No...no...it is a good thing, but people have to realize that what Rudy says must be taken with a grain of salt. DD
Just like what you say I guess. Actually, you are correct. Rudy does exaggerate but so does nearly every other coach, GM, player and owner. Remember when Drayton McLane pulled out those pie charts to show how much money the Astros were losing in the dome only 2 years after he said Bud Adams was crazy for saying the Astrodome was not making the Oilers any money? It's called "spinning" the media. They learned from politicians well.
Can you imagine how good Steve could be without this problem. Hard to imagine isn't it? Also, if any of you know if Steve drinks diet sodas, tell him to give them up and see if that doesn't decrease the severity and frequency of his migraines.
