"Grizzlies announce Rudy Gay could miss a month or more with a "shoulder subluxation." Gay was injured in last night's win vs PHL."

Wow,that's pretty bad. Might help our chances to sneak in as the 8th seed at Memphis' expense though.

It's unfortunate players get injured and I wish Rudy Gay nothing but the best.

But it happened and obviously will be a major factor in the Rockets playoff hunt, which is why I thought the picture was fitting and maybe good for a laugh. Sorry if I offended you or others.

The Grizz have a pretty tough stretch in that four week period without their second highest scorer.

    @ SA
    vs SA
    vs NO
    @ Dal
    vs OKC (b2b game)
    vs NY
    @ Mia

Things could get interesting. Or maybe they'll be annoying like Portland and refuse to go away.

    Good news for Rockets.

    - Memphis has a tough stretch coming and loses an important players.
    - Denver has lost 7 of last 10.. and possibly could use both Billups and Melo anyday.
    - Utah has lost 12 of last 16... and possibly lose even more with new coaching.
    - Phoenix have tough schedule... way too many road games and they are not too ahead of us.
    - Portland has been doing great, but they have had quite an easy schedule lately. March and April will definitely test them big time.

Rockets could not ask for better platform to make a run. Let's make a trade that makes us competitive and increase our chances to go deep in the playoffs and then make a big run.

After i dropped him. And Gay's on my team. I hate you man

I do have young as well though, so hopefully he'll outplay Allen for minutes.

as soon as i saw the thread title, i knew "the picture" would have to be in here somewhere. the fact it was reply #1 was great.

and this demonstrates one of the big drawbacks to tangibility - you can get injured.

Too bad for them. I thought the Grizzlies had a great shot at the playoffs. It will be much harder for them now, but they can still do it.

damn, my playoffs start at 4 weeks, I am no 1 in the league so I can risk holding on to a player and stay in contention, but the only way that is worth it is if he actually comes back right around 4 weeks. Damn it, Gay!
