    Ariza knocked him down pretty hard on a breakaway. Hit the ground pretty hard. There was a fight too in front of the Laker bench.

    Yup absolute cheap shot by Trevor Ariza on Rudy. I hope they kick him out of the league, there was no reason for it. But the good news is Odom came off the bench so he won't be at the Rocket game Wednesday :)

    But I hope Rudy is okay.

    The replay shows Ariza went for the ball, but the result looks worse than the intent.

    Never a good thing to see someone get carted off the court...

    im watching. what a punk ariza is.

    odom came off the bench, could be suspended a game, and the rox are up next.


    saw rudy moving his legs. everything should be fine. looks like stretched is precautionary.

    did odom really come off the bench??? can somebody confirm this?

    if they are down odom wednesday, that'd be huge.

    plus if the flagrant foul was bad, maybe ariza will get a 1 game suspension? somebody posted that the result ended up looking worse than the the intent.

    those two being out would really help..

    I think, i'm not positive, but a flagrant 2 may get you a suspension. not sure.

    damn Im just following the game on yahoo but i saw there were 5-6 technicals assesed.

    Everytime the lakers play the blazers, technical fouls are assessed and arguments break out.

    Paralysis isn't the issue. A neck or head injury is. Either could keep him out for an extended period, maybe even the rest of the season.

    A camera man starting holding Fenandez' hand while he was down in pain. Like he was on his deathbed or something. Kind of weird.

    I think it's possible that the Flagrant 2 call be changed to a Flagrant 1 tomorrow. Odom did step in, but the scuffle did happen near their bench... so I don't know.

    I hope Rudy is ok too, Lakers prove they are still soft and dirty at the same time if that's possible.

    I want to see what happened, I probably will have to check on YouTube when I come from School tomorrow though.

    during the kcal broadcast, they said that he had feelings in his extremities, and that he was having chest pains and a bit of trouble breathing.

    He definitely broke some ribs, and I wouldnt be surprised if he has a severely bruised hip.
