http://www.skyspine.com/ A friend of mine has been working on this for a good while now, and has finally gotten version 2 of the site running. In the simplest form, it's an RSS reader that you can set with as many rss links as you want, sorted by tabs (like have tech on one tab, sports on another, humor on a 3rd). You can also make multi-feeds by typing in the URL of the feeds and seperating them by a pipe (the | key), which allows you to combine let's say, engadget, gizmodo, and cnet all into one feed, and have it sort by the time the entry was added.
