Best: Comes to camp in excellent shape. Takes over starting PF position. Worst: Continue being the king of excuses.
In my personal opinion, it doesn't really matter what the best case scenario is as far as what he becomes as a player because he has more than proven that you can never, ever count on him for anything of any meaning. No matter how good he becomes, you will not be able to count on him to be a professional when you need him. It's going to take a real humbling for that to happen, and as long as he's getting paid on a guaranteed contract, I don't see that happening. So best case scenario is to be free of him today. Next best case is to be free of him tomorrow.
Worst case scenario: still on the Rockets roster. Best case scenario: affilliatted with #Bangbros for their brand new #Bangbus season X.
best case scenario: he gets some playing time. worst case scenario: he criticizes the rockets organization again and does nothing for the rest of the season
Forget best/worst case -- what is the most likely case? Most likely -- White sits on his butt, gets even fatter, doesn't practice that shot that he doesn't have, and makes more juvenile music.
best scenario: he gets traded and actually does his job worst scenario: "would you like fries with that?"
best: He still has talent. I think he'll realize how close he came to fecking up his future and change his mindset. He'll get focused, get in shape again, become the point forward of the 2nd unit, and rack up the assists to DMo and Delfino. worst: Through twitter he becomes a radicalized muslim terrorist and reintroduces the plague, which kills everyone except for him and Eve. They repopulate the planet with Royce White's.
Best Case Scenario is stop taking Prozac. Everybody points the finger at Royce, but I think the doctors & their treatment deserves the blame. I used to know people who took drugs their whole life for mental illness. It is like wearing a cast permanently. Let's say somebody broke their ankle, so they should have a cast on their ankle. In time, the bone will heal, but let's say the cast remains on the ankle. They will not be able to walk or run even though they are able to do so. That is the case with taking mental illness drugs indefinitely. It makes it impossible to function like a healthy person. It is sad and wrong. There should be more outrage over it. Certainly the demands of being a professional athlete asks a lot so that is being put at a huge disadvantage. The doctors treat panic attacks and other conditions as if they are incurable, and convince their patients likewise, when that is simply not true. So I see Royce White mostly as a victim of what I would call "medical abuse."
