He is the greatest boxer I have ever seen.

Does anybody have any tapes of him or know where i can ask to get tapes? Or anything online? I got some porno when I tried to get it off of Kazaa. Thanks.

Roy Jones is good, and is currently the best pound for pound. However, he's not the best ever.

Watch Muhammad Ali on ESPN Classic for "the greatest" boxer ever.

Ali fought and won in an era of heavyweights that would dominate today's contenders. George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Ernie Shavers, Sonny Liston...

Ali was the greatest. No debate.

I hope he moves up to heavyweight and fights Ruiz. It will probably never happen though.

I have heard alot of "experts" say RJ will get smashed by Ruiz. I think not.
RJ is the best. All he really needs to do is fight Michaelczewski (sp) to prove it
without a doubt. Hopkins can keep crying all he wants RJ already beat him.

What about Joe Louis? Or Jack Johnson?

Ali lost to Norton and to Frazier, and its pretty acknowledged Liston laid down. Many people still claim Norton won their third fight as well. Oh, but he did beat Jerry Quarry twice, lol.

What about Rocky Marciano, didn't he retire undefeated? What about Sugar Ray Robinson, many consider him the best pound for pound ever.

Um, Roy probably would by Ruiz

I think everyone wants to see him fight Hopkins. Enough of the 60/40 BS, just get it on....

I think Roy could beat Lewis, Tyson, all of them. He's too damn fast.

Whether or not he could pull it off, it would be one of the few fights I would pay to see. I think he would have a good shot against Ruiz. Actually Jones - Holyfield would be fun to watch, but i'm afraid that would be about like Lewis - Tyson. At least the size difference would be offset by Roy in his prime vs. Holyfield at the end of his career.

Ruiz is an ugly fighter and extremely boring to watch, believe me, it would be lame to have Jones fight Ruiz

    He should fight Hopkins

The Ali-Frazier bouts are the best fights I have ever seen. I also think both fighters were never the same after meeting each other. The punishment in those fights were unbelievable. Whether, or not Ali is the best fighter ever is debatable, but I doubt anybody ever took a better punch.
I wish Roy Jones would fight Bernard Hopkins again. I would rather watch Butterbean than see another John Ruiz fight. He makes Jerry Quarry look like Ali.

No doubt Ruiz is a boring sloth - the more I think about it Jones vs. Holyfield would be a pretty good fight. Holyfield could trim down for a fight for the first time in a decade, back to his cruiser weight days. Jones needs to have a big time fight again either Hopkins or a Heavyweight, pay per view rap video fights won't cut it anymore.

I have noticed that a lot of movies I download from Kaaza (Road to Perdition, LOTR) ends up being p*rn from that bangbus site. Those guys are very sly and tricky.

lol! It takes some doin' to make Quarry look like Ali!!!

No doubt about the Ali-Frazier fights! We agree again (that's twice in two or three days! ;)) Especially 1 & 3! I just don't think its right to say 'there is no debate' on the issue of who 'the greatest fighter' is/was, even if Ali was. Ali was 'the greatest' self promoter of all time, and more than likely the 'most popular,' but sometimes I think that gets confused with 'greatest pound for pound fighter.' In addition, Ali was a real jerk at times and that does tend to skew my opinion of him somewhat.

What about the greatest 'round' y'all have seen? Suprisingly (maybe) Tommy Hearns features in two on my list, both Round 3's. The first against Sugar Ray Leonard and the next against Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Talk about going toe to toe in the middle of the ring.

btw: just shot some stick with some very cool Kiwis. I have to say you're (Kiwis) about twice as friendly as the British.

First I agree that he should fight Hopkins but it will never happen. Hopkins wants an even purse, and Jones will not give it to him since he's already beat Hopkins once before.

As for fighting John Ruiz, Jones has already agreed to fight Ruiz but they haven't set a date. Jones has always been one of my favorite boxers, and pound for pound he's the best they're is. The only problem with fighting Ruiz is that Ruiz outweighs Jones by about 35 pounds. Ruiz also has a iron jaw, and is a bruiser that will body up on Jones taking away his speed. Ruiz also packs a punch. Remember Ruiz did beat Holyfield before. Also with the added weight Jones will have to gain to fight in the heavyweight division he will lose some of his quickness. I think Jones is going to suffer the first true loss of his career against Ruiz.

I think Ruiz will have just as much trouble dealing with the faster Jones as Jones will with Johns extra weight. A determined, challenged RJ will show Ruiz up. When Roy gets motivated, people get hurt.
