I'm pumped up guys!...I got that adrenaline and crazy wild eyed look in my eyes with snot and saliva dripping out everywhere!...I just realized my favorite indoor gun range in the Nashville area is renting machine guns! FUN, FUN, FUN... Now I thought about placing this in D&D, but many even far lefters agree 2nd admendment rights is important and not a conflicting issue nowadays... Now,... to be clear on my stance I do NOT advocate civilian ownership of machine guns...In a survival situation of an unlikely, but possible outcome of home defense against several (more than one) armed looters in a civil breakdown scenario...the semi-auto carbine (M4 clone) is preferable to avoid unaccounted shots and thus minimize innocent casualty.... BUT O what fun it will be!...I will be going on my next day off (Wed.) to rent a machine gun...I never shot one before, and I will also give a report on the fun factor and such... 2 options: Full automatic HK MP5A2 in 9mm...Or short barrelled Colt Commando type with 3 round burst in .223 Since I can't shoot my stockpile of ammo, and have to shot their ammo, I will pick just one...Probably the MP5A2 since I have shot an AR carbine/Rifle thousands of times... On the link below, the guy that looks like Dana White is the owner...He knows me by name,...partly because I sometimes go to his store and stare at the guns and stuff like a petrified zombie without buying anything... http://www.ontargettn.com/
Civilian ownership of machine guns is perfectly legal at the federal level and has always been (though lately it has gotten extremely expensive, and some states don't allow it). Once I start to get a better positive cash flow, I'm probably going to pick up a Reising while they are somewhat reasonably priced.
A friend gave me a gift of a Skorpion Vz 61. It is the coolest little thing I've seen. Its hanging on my wall in my study area.
No pics, though I did take em... MP5 Just like the ones seen in the rainbow six games and real world SWAT... Full auto wants to climb,...and the fun factor was high...Shooting in bursts is the only way to really be accurate after 25 yards and this is a "lowly" 9mm The reaction is I loved it, but semi-auto in 5.56 is even better when all is said and done...
is president bush a liberal for having the national guard carry out gun confiscation in new orleans? please watch this clip from an abc news piece. http://www.gunowners.org/abcnews.mpg i know plenty of gun enthusiasts who think that bush is even more anti-gun than clinton.
and i bet ammo is getting more expensive and harder to find as well. this is all by design. just because rush says bush is pro-guns doesnt make it so.
tradertexx, we all already know that you will automatically support EVERYTHING bush does, including gun confiscation, but i would like to hear what roxran thinks. since he believes that its the "liberals" who are anti-gun, does he think bush is a liberal for advocating gun confiscation? why does he take guns from law-abiding people who need to protect themselves from the real criminals?
For the record (not that I support Bush) the confiscations were on the order of Ray Nagan. They had nothing to do with Bush.
I got my copy of Small Arms Review (a truly scary magazine - I have a subscription for professional reasons) and aparently they are now marketing a semi-auto Skorpion.
Ah, but did you get to shoot the one with the intigral silencer? The other thing I want to get is one of these. (The link is to a movie of a guy shooting two nearly identical Ruger Mk. II's. The difference is that the one in his left hand has a silencer. You have to listen very closely to even realize he's firing it.)
