This might sound crazy at first but I've come up with the idea that the Rockets play better when they turn the ball over like they do almost every game, which is about 15-25 times a game. Call me crazy but every time I can remember that the Rockets had low turnover numbers, such as game 2 of the series in L.A., the Rox have struggled to play D and score and as a result, lose. I think that constantly turning the ball over may motivate them to play better D, and offense. Remember when the Rockets beat a very good Mavericks team with 30 turnovers??!! Are you beginning to catch on?? Well if not, then think about this: do you ever notice how a lot of times the Rockets are shooting a very good fg%, sometimes much higher than their opponent, but the score is either close or the Rox are slightly behind?? These are always the high turnover games, and their FG% is so high because their is a sense of urgency from all the turnovers to score baskets, as well as play outstanding D. When the turnovers are low, they don't seem to give as hard of an effort. This is just a suggestion, and I'd like to know what you guys think.
how about you look at our win lose ratio when our turnovers are high, then you might have an argument. i could just as easily say that we play best with MJ starting over francis, because remember that game where we beat seattle with mobes and francis on the bench? just because something is contrary to logic, doesn't necessarily make it an epiphany if it is true in one of a hundred scenarios.
