    July 15 - The Rockets Power Dancers will be sporting an all-new look when we enter our new arena this season. While the design of the Rockets uniforms are nearing completion, we're still tinkering with the new look for the Power Dancers outfits. We've provided a few sample images for you to take a look at and we'd like to get your feedback. Your thoughts and suggestions will help us determine the ultimate look of our new dance team uniforms, so let us know what you think!

    The Houston Rockets won't be alone in debuting new uniforms this season. You'll also see the Rockets Power Dancers sporting an all-new look when we enter our new arena beginning with the 2003-04 season.
    While the design of the Rockets uniforms are nearing completion, we're still tinkering with the new look for the Power Dancers outfits. This is where you come in. Take a look at the sample images below and let us know what you think. Your feedback will be instrumental in helping us determine the ultimate look of our new dance team uniforms.

    AUDITIONS
    Don't miss your chance to earn one of these uniforms for yourself. If you are a female, 18 years old or older, come out to the Rockets Power Dancer Auditions this Saturday, July 19. Open auditions are being held at the Hobby Center Downtown, at 800 Bagby. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

    And check back here Tuesday, July 29 to vote for who you think should be the last Power Dancer. The fans will have the final say, so stay tuned!

    I'm with crash on this one. There are several good ones out there, but #1 looks great. I wasn't a big fan at all of the new logo, but if our new unis look as good as the power dancer's outfits (provided they go with our opinion), then I'm excited about the new look.

    just wear bikinis, and dance during the time outs.

    The more cleavage the better, so I went with 1.

    Check out #7 though. See how low on the hip the right side is and how much thigh the left side shows. I don't see why they can only have one uniform, other squads have multiple stuff. #1 should be the main one, 7 and alternate, throw in the pants one to not seem so sexist, and then have them dance in JUST a t-shirt that says "Animals Have Rights Too" Or, they could go the way of the PETA ads and just go out there nude.:D

    "Number 1 is definitely the best cut out of them all. I just wonder if the silver lace would be the better choice over sparkling green/blue. Is it possible to show examples of the same cut with the different colored lace?

    Also, are you set on the "v" boots. I love our logo, I love these outfits, but "v" boots take it a little far and make me think our power dancers are superheros. I'm sure the girls are amazing hehe, but no superhero boots please."



    Hehe don't you think the boots are just a tad over the top?
    Can't wait for the player uniforms.

    I like this one but I dont think there is nearly enough cleavage. Do you notice how the cleavage is much more defined than the face? Tells you something doesnt it?

    #1 is the one I voted for. Nice Wonder Woman uniforms! :D
    That's the first thought I had when I saw them. They look good though!


    I think the R LOGO looks good on those outfits and I am sure the new Rockets uniforms will look just as good.

    This is a perfect example of why the simple R LOGO works. The simplicity on the uniforms is very nice!
