Well....you forgot. We don't have Rudy T. anymore. This is a totally different team. They suck. Moochie plays forever. Glen Rice has lost his shooting. Yeah. This is actually pretty realistic. But God. We have to win. Who says we can beat Seattle at Seattle? We just lost to them recently in Seattle. They owned us. Then...who said we can beat Memphis in Memphis? They have beat us. They are capable of beating us.

And who said the Suns would lose to Minnesota at Pheonix? Twolves have been kinda struggling.

I don't care if we make the playoffs. We don't have a freakin chance against Dallas.

Supersonics lose their final game because they will have been out of race at that time. No adequate motivation. Let's hope Rox will be consistent in beating weak teams. Mins will play hard at
Phoenix if they want the homecourt advantage.

The only good news is that the Rockets have 4 home games and an easy road game at Denver. All 5 of these games are must-wins, in my opinion.

In the Rockets vocabulary "easy roadgame" is an oxymoron. :D

Suns need to fall apart and Rockets need a miracle to squeeze in the playoff. Where is Tonya Harding's boyfriend when you need him?

Stats and Facts: Why we will slip pass Suns for 8th spot

    (these are my predictions)

    Games remaining:

    Rockets: 7 games remaining
    4/4 @Philly-Loss (1-0)
    4/6 Orlando-Win (1-0)
    4/8 Portland----Back to back games -Loss (1-2)
    4/9 @Utah-----Back to back games -Win (1-2)
    4/12 Seattle -Win (1-2)
    4/15 Memphis---Back to back games -Win (2-1)
    4/16 @Denver---Back to back games -Win (3-0)

    Suns: 8 games remaining
    4/5 Minnesota---Back to back games -Loss (0-3)
    4/6 @L.A. Lakers---Back to back games -Loss (1-2)
    --
    4/8 @Denver---Back to back games -Win (2-1)
    4/9 Dallas---Back to back games -Loss (1-2)
    4/11 Golden State -Win (1-2)
    4/13 San Antonio -Loss (2-1)
    4/15 @Portland---Back to back games -Loss (3-0:confused: )
    4/16 @Seattle---Back to back games -Loss (1-2)

I feel after the game against Orlando on 4/6, we should sit Yao out for the game against Portland to let him be well-rested for the game @Utah the next night. The Suns have a tough schedule. 3 back to back's (6 games). Besides the game @Denver, all the 1st games of the 'back to back's ' are tough (Minnesota and @Portland). In my opinion, the last 2 games of the season for us (home against Memphis, then @Denver) will make or break us. If those 2 games are wins, we'll be in the playoffs. If they are losses, we won't be in the playoffs. If they are 1-1, then no, we will not make the playoffs. That is my opinion.

Anyone want to clear anything up about my predictions that you don't agree with?

I don't think Suns will lose their last 3 games. Playoffs seedings should be set for SA and Portland and Seattle would be out of playoffs by that time, so they might rest their starters which make them not so difficult games for the Suns as they're on paper.

Portland and Seattle's final home games. They wouldn't let their starters sit out for the whole game. Besides, they'd want to go out of the season with a win.

Utah is Steve's court. The city should be named "Salt Lake Stevie". We have Memphis at home and then we play Denver for the last game of the season. They should be wins. And what is so impossible about beating the Sonics back in Houston which would be as intense as a playoff game? I'm an optimist but I'm also being somewhat real here.

OK, you've got the Rox finishing up at 43-39...

First, I really don't think the Rox can "sweep" the Jazz in the Delta Center.

Secondly, I'm not as conviced as you are that the Rox can beat Orlando even if it is a home game. We beat them by 10 in Orlando but that was before Gooden and Giricek on a night when Mike Miller went 4-17. Something tells me Gooden and Giricek will shoot better than 23.5%.

Your 5-2 could turn into 3-4 without Utah & Orlando. Let's split the difference and call it 4-3 for a 42-40 record.

So in order to avoid the tiebreaker, the Suns need to be 43-39 meaning 4-4 for the remaining 8 games. Let's give them Denver and GS (home game) and Seattle. That means if Portland has locked it's spot and rests starters, the Rox are in trouble if they don't beat both Utah & Orlando.

Nice thinking. We WILL win in Utah. Steve will go off for 35+. Utah will be fighting hard for the 6th seed with the Lakers, but we can pull it out. Playoff atmosphere. Rivaly goes back to Stockton knocking us out of the playoffs with the 3. Stevie will play like an A+ point guard against Utah. He always has. Especially in Delta.

Maybe Rudy will miraculously come back........not able to live with what he is seeing on the court. I really hope he is doing fine with his treatment though.

It might be a good thing to have RudyT site in front of a TV and watch a few ugly ISO games this team put up. He might be as frustrated as some Yao only fans in this board.

Then he will come back and bench some morons in this team and start force team plays. You know that RudyT do not have chance to watch a Rockets game from an angle other than the head coach. It just might help to watch the team like everyone else does.

We all know that everyone shout during the games: How hard it is for the rockets guards see a 7'5" giant who is open!

Oh, I hope they invite RudyT be the commentator of Rockets home games. Then we will hear him say what the every other commentators will say: Pass Yao the .... ball.
