I don't know how many of you guys know this, but fellow Rox fan doitdickau played at the 2005 World Series of Poker.

He was nice enough to let me interview him, which you can read here.

Another Rox fan, pgsxdjp, helped set up an interview with his cousin's boy friend, a semi-professional online poker player who participated in the $10,000 main event. You can read his interview here.

This stuff is a good read for anyone interested in joining the WSOP next year. For example, did you know they have $1,500 buy-in tournaments?

Here are some excerpts from the interviews:

Thanks for being so helpful about the interviews guys. :)

I hope to one day play in the WSOP. I'm addicted to Texas Hold 'Em.

    Thanks Longhornfan, Flyerfanatic. :)

rockets-#1, competing in the WSOP is easier than ever. There are many affordable satellites being held all over the country and online. I think next year I will sign up for the $1,500 NL Hold'em tournament myself.

Even if you don't compete, visiting the WSOP is a lot of fun too. I played in the Press-Celebrity charity game and had a great time just hanging out with the other players and trading bad beat stories. :D
