Sure, we got a big win tonight, but I have to say it's no thanks to the Red "Rowdies". Last year, you could tell there was a definite impact on the games. You could hear the Rowdies and the crowd got into it.

This year, we have a terrible home record, and I think part of it is that we've lost the home rowdy buzz. Houston fans in general are quiet which is why you were paid to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! If you can't deliver some noise for 48 mins, please pass your responsibility to someone that can.

The Hawks game coming up is exactly the kind of one where we've had let downs in the past. I hope that I hear the Rowdies sack-up and live up to your name. Wreak havoc.

If we lose, it's on you, and I'll be referring to you as the Pink Rowdies for the rest of the season. You've been called out!

It's sweeter when JVG pays for it.

    Love that guy.

They don't get paid, they get to go to the game for free, that's it.

To me, that is getting paid. I would love for someone to give me free tickets to the games!

But tonight's game was really quiet. Especially when you consider it was a nationally televised game. That is the one thing I love about the Staples Center, the fans are always drunk and screaming. Even when it is a Clippers game, and even when the Clippers suck as much as they do, they have Clipper Daryl cranking up the noise. Now when you consider that their are more Rowdies, you guys need to pick up your game or come and take lessons from Clipper Daryl.

Next time there is tryouts to be a rowdy why don't some of you do your part and show up to that if you are really a big rockets fan. It easy to talk but be one of the 40 and see if your loud enough to be heard in the back of section 114.

That's not getting paid, getting paid is getting money for being a rowdy. They are being compensated for their time by going for free where others have to pay for seats, but using the word "paid" is incorrect.

    i suggest Economics 101.

getting "paid" is not always about money. more simply, look up barter in your trusty dictionary.

Truthfully, our home crowd sucks. I remember the crowd used to be rockin back in the 90's. We need this crowd to be at the level of those at Sac or GS. Those are real crowds. At our best, we sound like the Knicks crowd.... during a loss.

We need to get The_Yoyo up in the TC every game. Fly his ass out here for every single one. He will bring the energy. When he came out for the home opener and Dave organized the group I think our section was louder than at game 2 of the playoffs against Utah. Lots of people were standing, cheering, chanting, screaming. It was amazing.

It truly does make me sad, because nobody gets fired up about the Rockets. We cheer for them but it seems everyone is just waiting for the eventual letdown.

I think this board needs to pick another game where CF.net represents an entire section and we all go crazy again. If you get maybe 10 people being loud the rest will get into as well. Some people just need to set the example.

    WE HAVE THE POWER!

Our crowds have always been quiet -- Maxwell called them out during the playoffs for their lack of enthusiasm and not selling out the Summit.

the Texans always sell out and the Astros seem to have a lot of rabid fans. I think the Rockets have been taking a back seat for too long.

    I am fine with that

Jeremiah txted me last night asking when I would be coming out there I said I probably wont be able to make it until the playoffs I would love to come sooner but its not the cheapest thing for me to fly out there all the time. If I lived closer within like a 3-4 hour drive instead of flight I'd be out there all the time.

if anyone wants to pay for my plane tickets than I'd be more than happy to oblige to come out there ;)
