Well, I created the other two Eastern conference playoffs threads, so I felt obligated to do this one. I don't really have much to say about this series except Detroit should be ashamed if it takes them anything more than 5 games to win it. If any dissenters to this opinion exist, please reply in order to make this thread infinitely more interesting. Game 1 set to start in about an hour (6:00 CST). I won't be home for the game, so I figured to make this thread now (just is my little effort to make the Dish a bit more organized for this year's playoffs than last year).
Sorry, but no way this series is deserving of its own thread. Same thing with the Cavs/Wizards series. The NBA should just forfeit both series and put the Cavs/Pistons in the second round.
i'm hoping the rockets will have a look at diener in free agency. i hope he doesn't nail too many 3's if he makes it onto the court.
Dude, that's exactly what I thought. And if this thread falls off the page, so be it. But, you never know I guess... No way in hell I'll make a thread for Cavs-Wizards. Unless the Wizards somehow win a game, which would actually be extremely sad.
I just hope it doesn't go into overtime and prevent me from catching the rockets/jazz game on time, that's all.
Howard needs a lot on offense. The magic were fools for letting Clifford Ray go. He's now tutoring Al Jefferson who's blossomed as a low-post scorer.
i hope we never let thibedeoux (sp? you know who i'm talking about) go. We also need a good guard shotting coach i think to work on rafer, vspan, and captain kirk.
Sorry, but Omeka Okafor > Dwight Howard so far in their respective careers. I understand that D-Howard supposedly has more 'upside', but Omeka is just a more solid player IMO but he gets no recognition for it.
Howard, is still very raw in offense, despite his improvements. He'll come good though, since he's only 21... there's so much time to work on his game.
