Have any of you guys ever had one?I had one done today.They hurt like a b**ch.Im only 16. Im to young to be having this sh*t done. My advice for you is if you need a filling get it done quickly!!!! 16!! ha! I was 12 when I had my first major dental work done, IN THE HOSPITAL, no less!!! I've felt your pain. rH
Sounds like your dentist could use a nice a$$-kickin', or you're a 'Girly-Mahn'. I've had 2, on seperate visits. I had a little pain afterwards, but nowhere near unbearable. Both times I took it easy the rest of the day, and was back in business the very next day with no problems. YEP, I KNOW, I'M THE MAN! Get well soon.
About 15 years ago, I needed a root canal on Friday but couldn't get one until Monday afternoon. Talk about misery. I had to cool that tooth down with cool water about every minute throughout the weekend. The root canal itself is a piece of cake. Ain't dentistry wonderful!
I'm going to have my wisdom teeth taken out the 2nd week of February. You better believe I'm going to be high as a kite throughout the entire healing process. I've still got a bunch of Vicodin from last spring.
Get this Kagy, I'm jealous! I had the greatest wisdom teeth removal ever, I don't think I felt a shard of pain once. Went in during the 1996 series against the Sonics. They started asking about the Rockets, and before I could say anything, the next thing I knew, my girlfriend at the time was waking me up. Then, I went and got the obligatory chocolate milkshake, went to my girlfriend's house, woke up to watch the Simpsons rerun on Fox (they woke me up for this), and they had gone and rented all my favorite movies at the time for me to watch. Her family gave me control over the television all weekend, I was high as a kite, and by Sunday (I got them pulled on Friday), I could eat semi-solid foods. The best thing was that since I was in a constant buzz, the Rockets' loss didn't upset me as much when it happened.
