I thik Landry Scola and Brooke are stronger than those Memphis rookies. They are getting more opportunity since Memphis sucks big time.

I think Scola will be averaging well into double figures and close to double digit boards by the end of the season. He needs to be considered for rookie of the year because he has had a bigger impact on his team winning by far than Kevin Durant. I think if the Rockets finish in the top 4 with him in the starting lineup, he should get it.

So far Durant showed he can be a volume shooter 17.2 shots a game and barely .400 on % and only .287 on threes. I don't get what makes him hands down the best rookie at all.

scola is averaging 5 rebounds per game. don't think he can up that 5 more rebounds with a half a season gone.

i was suprized when seattle traded allen for green, but green has been pretty darn good. he'll be a good player to come.

And navarro, i thought he'd be another v-span, but he also proved me wrong.

but behind memphis and seattle, i agree with the author that we have the best rookie class.

Unfortunately the only qualification for rookie of the year is Statistics...

The scary thing about our Rooks is that they are still learning the game. Also the whole team is beginning to gel but still can get better with Adleman's system. Who knows how good this entire squad can be?

Adleman said rox isnt play prinston system now, he is just trying to findout a system which can suitable for Yao & Tmac's team.

Yao is absolutely not suitable for the prinston system.

I could see him finishing with like 12 pts, 8 rebs. He's all hustle. Durant at his best (which isn't that often) is Tracy on a bad night. No way that warrants ROY. I swear, the media hypes players soooo much for fan interest.

Except when people are looking for a reason to vote for Amare over Yao

Scola maybe rank at 3 by the end, Durant is a lock (for whatever reason),
Al Horford, with 9/10 at 2. Scola with 12/7 at best (50 games gone),
Landray at top10, Brooks at top15.

They are largely responsible for the team's improvement. Scola and Landry have made teams pay for doubling Yao. When they rotate over to cover our rookie forwards, Yao makes them pay. This is very encouraging. A few weeks ago this team looked to be going nowhere, not even the playoffs. Now, thanks to the rookies, they are back in the hunt.

Morey is a genius. I can't believe he netted us three promising rookies in a single offseason - and that's not even considering the guys he picked in the second round and left overseas.

When was the last time we had three promising rookies in even a three year period? I'm thinking Dickerson, Mobley and Othella Harrington?

I love all the positive threads in the GARM :p

Scola basically isn't a rookie, and Landry is playing really well for a rookie...and AB is good (though undersized...)

It's great to watch them play together though...fun stuff
