I know its still early, but I think there are a few guys that are making heads turn already. I personally think Channing Frye and Chris Paul have been amazing. Channing Frye tonight with 30 points on 14 of 18 shooting, 7 boards, 2 assist, a steal, 2 blocks. The kid is amazing. Almost nullifies that whole Curry signing. Deron Williams is playing great too, just to name a few. I think if an entire team depended on Head like they do Paul, Heads numbers would be great too. So thats a little unfair. But I guess thats just how the voting goes, based on overall production.
Chris Paul has made a huge difference on the Hornets. He deserves to be the ROY in my book. Channing Frye has been playing great lately as well. 30 points tonight on 14/18 shooting.
Right now I'd say Chris Paul. The Hawks really missed the boat by not taking him IMO. Marvin Williams will turn out to be pretty good just when his rookie contract expires.

Chris Paul has been outstanding for NOK. I bet Atlanta sure wishes they would have drafted him over Marvin Williams. Williams MIGHT end up being a better player over time, but Paul is playing great now and in the NBA these days GOOD PGs are at a premium!
This is one of the best rookie class in recent history. I know, they don't have a LeBron-Melo, or Yao-Amare combo. But for quite a while I haven't seen so many rookies contributing right away in the same year.
