Damn... He caught nice bow... I have a feeling the Celts are gonna come out playing with a vengence.... but the refs will choose their fate regardless....
Or how about how the Celtics are gonna be without their best interior defensive presence for Game 7? Years from now, people will actually debate on how Kendrick Perkins changed the fate for two of the winningest teams in NBA history.
Really? How about Bynum missing the entire 08 series and Ariza barely played? Lakers will win this one with or without Perkins. And they would be on the verge of 3 peat had they not lost 2 key players in 08. Celtics are the lucky one, not the other way around.
Rondo got away with about 10 fouls in the first few games of this series. There have been plenty of missed calls for both teams. I couldn't care less who wins but I do hope for a tight, down to the wire game.
Ridiculous thread title and quote to pull out. Click on the article and read more than 1 sentence man.
The guy that pops in after every Laker W... Hilarious... Now Bynum and Trevor Ariza would have made the difference to that raping in 2008... That is rich... Had the Rockets kept Mutombo, Yao and Tracy Mcgrady healthy last year, game 7 would have been a wrap. Oh, and let's assume that you guys had Ron than too, because we certainly don't want him...
The difference is that Bynum gets injured against other teams and in such succession that no one blames anyone else for his injury-proneness. With Perkins it was the BYNUM himself that over-the-back fouled him and essentially knocked him out for the rest of the series. You could tell that the entire team was getting carried away with the whole "it's our home court we gotta show em who's the MAN" attitude that Phil no doubt hammered home in their heads before the game. And the worst part was that nothing was called on his injury despite it being a night and day over-the-back. But I'm sure you'll dispute that too. I couldn't care less who wins the series to be honest. But I hate having to listen to jaded fans of either side justify why one thing or another occurred. Lakers had homecourt starting the series, they had the advantage even after Boston went up 3-2 because it was still par for the course. Referees are gonna be partial to whichever team is at home; it's always been that way to a certain degree. To deny that LA got the favor of the calls on Tuesday is ignorance, but so is to deny that Boston didn't get theirs also in Games 3-5. LA fouled the heck out of them in Game 6 but honestly I couldn't think of a team to deserve it more than Boston. "Their style is suited for the playoffs" amounts to the Jerry Sloan maxim "in the playoffs they call even FEWER of our hand checks, loose ball fouls, and moving picks".
At least he's being exposed for the fraud that he is, just like his team. After tomorrow, we'll never see goodbug again.
I also didn't show up here yesterday when Lakers win. LOL. I am an adult, not a crying baby like you.
I dont get the Laker hate honestly I dont hate a team unless they playin the Rockets except the Jazz......fugg'em
Really? How about Garnett getting injured last season and missing the entire playoffs. The Celtics proved this year that if they are relatively healthy going into the playoffs, they are the best team in the East. The Lakers lucked out last year not having to play the Celtics in the Finals because of KG's injury.
