It's Ronald Murray's final year of his contract for $895,000 in 2006. This guy has some serious game when he was with the Sonics and I'm sure the guy would like to be in the starting line up and currently unhappy with the Cavs, coming off the bench. He can be the guy that we need at 2 spot. I would be willing to take that risk and besides his only 26 years of age and has a lot of potential to be that SG that we need.

Hes started almost every game hes played with the Cavs, and is averaging 36.7 minutes in those games.

too short, plays no "d", doesn't solve height problem, doesn't shoot the ball well enough, and wants to be a main offensive option.

I'll do something he rarely does and pass.

Funny, he and Tracy are cousins....

He's still a small guard but he can score and has younger and more athletic legs than old man Wesley. He's an OK outside shooter....the problem I have is when watching him...he tends to take a couple of dribbles to score and doesn't move well without the ball..

so who knows he could be a good fit but if he has a really good playoff with Cleveland his stock will rise

If cheap, he'd be a decent replacement for Wesley...but he really isn't much of an improvement. At 6-3, he is undersized for a SG. He's a pretty horrible 3 point shooter and doesn't give you much in the way of anything other than scoring.

His entire claim to fame has been a handful of great games a few years ago with the sonics that he has yet to be able to replicate. If he was as good as he was in those games, he would be getting a lot more money.

Forget Flip Murray. Let's get Sam Mack. He can score in bunches.

He's a good sparkplug guard off of the bench. Its something we really lost with Mike James and Flip is no where near MJ but if we can't get anything else he could be a decent replacement.

Are you serious? Three cousins in the NBA? I need to get in on that gene pool. Any single women in that family?

You sure Ronald and Tracy are cousins? This is the first I've heard of this.

I agree with pretty much everything people have said in response. He's too short, he's a lousy defender and he's a scorer, not a shooter. He needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

Also, this is the first I've heard that he's cousins with McGrady. Do you have a source for this information? You've aroused my curiousity. That would be something else if three cousins were all in the NBA. Especially when two of them are superstars.

I liked him better the first time when he was called Mike James. And a lesser James at that. But in his defense the year Allen was hurt he single handedly won me a fantasy league.

I'll take him if we draft a PF, otherwise, I believe we'll be drafting a SG for sure.

For a SG that's on the short side, yes.

Fred Jones of Indiana is better in just about everything and is also a free agent. He's also a 6'3" SG, but is athletic enough to defend bigger guys some.
