When we got Ron Artest last year everybody thought he would destroy the team's chemistry but it turned out good and he helped us made it to the 2nd round. This year we got Ariza and he's not even here for half the season and we starting to see signs of trouble between him and the guys? man i'll do anything to trade Ariza for Ron right now....

I dont give a shet if he kills the chemistry or whatever

Artest isn't much better and with this team he would DESTROY any kind of ball movement we've created.

Ron was likeable, a lot like trevor in his shot selection but he was still A LOT better. I loved that team we had last year...just loved it to death. And Von driving in with Yao on the baseline...

    My brain hurts...

Just because a player shows emotion doesn't mean that they are disrupting chemistry.

    He is frustrated.

The NBA is a league full of men. Some of these men express how they feel.

Luckily for young players like Brooks, they haven't had to deal with the pathos-side of basketball. But now, he not only has to learn how to manage the court, but also how to manage his teammates.

    Valuable experience, says this guy.

Until Ariza starts publicly trashing his teammates, his doing okay.

Do people hate on Kevin Garnett for making Glen Davis cry (side note, I subconsciously typed Big Baby Davis originally  )?

    No, they commend his "intensity".

Never wanted Ron, was skeptical of Trevor, would have rather run with Von for a lessor contract, and would rather have Von and CBud along with Battier.

Trevor is gawd awful, he has zero fundamentals.

And honestly, he looks like a low IQ player.

Despite how nutty Artest could be at times, he gave the team character and seemed to get along nicely with everyone. Plus..he's just a much better basketball player.

Compare the resume of Kevin Garnett to Trevor Ariza, then try to make that argument again.

Trevor Ariza's behavior on the court is unacceptable and is detrimental to the team. And, no one around the league displays body language like that WHILE on the court. no one...

I didn't believe Artest would destroy the team's chemistry, I believed he was a chucker and pulls a 'sheed now and then. However, I didn't expect Ariza to put up Rafer-like numbers (and worst numbers of his career so far).

Ariza played well for a MLE player tonight, I'm not sure where all this is coming from. As of late, he has lowered his shot volume, taken fewer shots, got more assists, and more rebounds. You people have set your expectations very high for some reason, perhaps it's because we "traded" artest for ariza so people assume they should have the same output.

Finally to the OP, Ariza has shown nothing but frustration and there hasn't been any reports of any bickering between players. Take that gossip girl stuff over to the WNBA forum.

Im just glad we got a championship winning Role Player for next season. Since we aint going for the title this year, let him figure it out by himself, even if it means takin 20 shots. Im sure he'll get the hang of it

Never understood DD's Von love. Not saying I dont miss him on the team but realistically shooting guards whose game resembles wafers arent exactly a rare thing in the NBA (Flip Murray, R. Butler, A. Morrow, D. Brown, W. Greene, M. Webster, etc etc).

As for Ariza, he is simply frustrated..frustrated hes not hitting more of his shots, frustrated that we arent winning as much as we could/should.. frustrated that he isnt being as productive as he would like to be. I think hes a good addition to the squad and this time next year the GARM will agree. I think the main thing with all the complaining going on is that most people in the GARM are losing sight of what this season really is for the Rockets. Its a chance to develop players. Put them in situations where they are forced to be the man, forced to take shots they wouldnt normally take, forced to try things they wouldnt normally try so that when we hopefully return to full strength next year, these ROLE players are that much better.

I hated the Ariza pick up from day one but I never thought he would be this bad. I do remember stating repeatedly that he is a poor man's Shane on defense and a one-dimensional offensive player with poor ball-handling skills. I just never imagined he would be this stupid or this poor of a shooter.

Having said all that, I'm glad Ron is gone. He would take this group of young, quiet guys and run all over them. This team would be a mess with him on the floor going 1 on 5. Would it be worse than Trevor? I doubt it but I think we at least assume that Trevor isn't poisoning the locker room with the type of stunts I suspect Ron would be pulling.

So I guess if I had to choose one guy I would pick Trevor over Ron but then I would bench Trevor and never let him see the court.

Ron killed chemistry, but he made his shots.
