I don't pay much attention to politics these days. Going through HS and first year of college I loved it and wanted a job in the big rigged machine. Once I moved to Texas I just stopped caring about the whole sham. The candidates are all the same. I wish Ron Paul could win just because he is different, but I know that can never happen.

I don't know much about Rand Paul. I read and admire Ayn Rand a good deal, but as mentioned, I stay out of politics. Obama preached Change and that hasn't happened. I don't blame the guy, because the machine is just too big. I just want to be left alone to make money and raise a family.

It was the endorsement from Tom Davis.

As a political newb, can someone explain why an endorsement from a State Senator is such a big deal?

If there is more behind it, I don't know what it could be.. but I think that with the huge number of undecided voters of South Carolina, this could persuade alot of them to vote for RP12. Even at the least it gives the Paul campaign more people to talk to the public about what he wants to do if elected.

What's funny is no news media mentions this endorsement. If it were Romney getting the endorsement, they would've interrupted the Packers game for it!!!!!

    This picture explains it all:

Sorriest, most self-pitying thing I've ever seen, like the all the girls crying after cheerleader tryouts. Blames everyone, even the people, for their own lack of popularity or relevance. Really can't wait to see this bug squashed.

I can't wait to see the bugs squashed. I don't have too much of a problem with Ron Paul. His ideas are dangerous but he's not. He's like your nutty uncle and we all know he'll never be in a position to implement any of his crazy BS. It's his supporters that drive me ape****. Can ToyCen not start one thread called "I love all conspiracy theories including the Ron Paul campaign" or something and put all his BS in there?

Note to ToyCen: A single endorsement from a STATE senator is not worthy of a thread. Nor were your last dozen Paul threads thread-worthy. Should I start a new thread every time Obama picks his nose? You're just trolling now, man.

Tom Davis is big among tea party folk in South Carolina. Whether that actually translates into anything is another matter. But in terms of local politics I guess its a big deal?

what are you even talking about? I saw it on the evil corporate fueled media shill controlled CNN.

Ron Paul has his supporters so paranoid they don't have an honest clue what's actually going on "in the media"

Johnny Rotten said a glib thing about American politics?

In a healthcare-free Paul administration, we will all have the liberty to have bad teeth.

Libertarianism and anarchy do go hand in hand, I guess.
