nice find i dont think CD mentioned anything on here he usually does he probably wanted a DD free show
Good stuff. Ron's pissed we didn't beat the Lakers... good! I'm glad he's pissed and not satisfied. So he wants to come back and give it another go. First time I've heard any explanation as to why his shooting went in the tank. Not sure I buy it, but who knows... something had to be wrong.
Nice find. Interesting that he thinks Kobe's elbow affected his shot so much. I do hope Ron re-signs, and it seems like that's really what he wants to do. The deal won't be silly either, because Morey is not a dumb man.
TMac doesn't need to be mentioned in every interview. An interview without a mention of TMac is a good interview.
His assessment sounds about right to me. It's about damn time the Rockets got a top-2 seed with all the talent they've had over the years. Bring Ron back and make something of T-Mac's expiring and our core of Battier Scola Brooks Landry Hayes and Lowry will keep improving for another 2-3 years (Brooks Lowry and Landry providing the upside, Battier Scola and Hayes being able to stay on their games or tail off only a bit in the next couple years). The motto last year was premature: NOW it's time. This team definitely does not need an overhaul: long as we keep Yao I think he finally realized in these playoffs what it meant to play within Adelman's system. That's why he wants to lose the weight now: he doesn't need it anymore like he did when JVG had him banging inside every play.
Ron talks about that it was hard to handle "all this diversity." I think he meant "adversity." We do have a Chinese, a Congolese, a Argentinian, and as different as Battier and Artest, so there is diversity, too. But as Tracy McGrady would say, Ron won't be using diversity as an escape goat.
You got to love Ron. Even after the team made it to the second round and the organization was satisfied he still wasn't. He is a competitor and competitors don't like coming in second place. Bring back Ron, he belongs in Houston
If it's not an excuse then it totally makes sense. If it is an excuse it's a pretty brilliant one. Either way I love Ron regardless.
Good read, made my day to hear he wanted to stay in Houston. Brooks T-Mac Artest Scola Yao Im lovin it.
When the game is on the line, i hope Adelman put this sick lineup in there: Tmac, Shane, Artest, Scola, Yao.
