We all know his rapping career bombed, but has anyone actually bothered listening to his music? In my opinion, it's actually pretty good...he has a message and reason to most of his songs. Regardless, it's hard to argue that his music is any worse than some of the garbage pop hip-hop out there now...

"Nasty North" is pretty good. The beat is good, at least.

    I liked all 3.

Ron Ron has some talent with a better producer and a different image he could probably do pretty well.

All his songs were good I think the only reason his albums bombed were because they lacked real marketing. Not the shameless self promotion stuff he was doing that made him look stupid.

If he could get some players to wear his gear (Tmac/Yao/Rafer/Shane) who knows. Maybe he will develop a fan base in China for his music. He could sell a ton of albums over there is they start to like him.

I listened to 4 or 5 of his songs the other night, and while I'm not a fan of rap, I found a few of them to be catch. There was one that was complete crap though.

First song is great. It's very socially conscious and politically aware.

ugh...man this the reason why i don't listen to alot new york rap. Its like they think that its okay to sound terrible as long as you're saying something. Yeah, he had a good message but the production is wack and he has no flow whatsoever. No swag at all. I'd rather listen to Wayne and he says nothing at all. Mumble mumble punchline mumble mumble punchline...but atleast he has flow and sounds musical.

Doesn't Yao own a chinese iTunes company? Maybe he can help Artest crack into China's rap market?

I think he can compete with this:
