Do you ever worry Artest will get selfish and try to finish the game himself? I worried about that for a bit before last night's game. I worried about that during every game of the Portland series. I can't even count how many games I worried about that during the regular season. Last night Artest did have 21 points but he also had 7 assists to go along with it and he had this to say about his teammates after the game:

I hope this Artest sticks around, we win games with this Artest.

okay. lets say artest doesnt hit his shots he was 8/15 FG 3/6 3PFG todayu

lets say he having an off night, 2/15 1/6 3PFG (not completely unbelievable)

and now the 7 assists he does make, those exact same passes, the other guys miss shots too, so now its only 2 assists.

so lets see the facts, ron artest has played the game in exactly the same fashion with the only differences being his shot is off, and a couple of team mates missed a few shots (im sure this has happened before)

but low and behold, im sure you'd be the first one in here starting a thread about OMG ARTESTS STYLE IS KILLING US HIS BALLHOG AND DOESNT TRUST IN OWN TEAM ZOMG PLZ TRADE HIM MOREY!!!11!!1one!!1!
    :)

Expecting fans to be completely rational while cheering for their ROCKETS is irrational..

He played the right way. I feel he would have started jacking up shots if some of them didn't go down. He needs to keep on playing inside-out and taking good shots even if he keeps on missing them.

he also handed Scola a beautiful pass in the first half but Scola missed the shot that would have been awesome.
