when Max went into the stands, no one else wanted a pierce of him.
when Artest went in the stands, the entire crowd wanted a piece of him.

Let's hope for the best, but Yao and Tracy aren't equal to the Dream even when you put them together.
Artest is more talented than Maxwell but I don't see that big a difference in them.

Did he average 20ppg? I mean come on...Vernon was a nice role player but Arstest is a lead player.

    No comparison.

he brings more cause he's a different player, more of a SF/PF.
max was a quick 2 guard who could also play the PG if necessary.
better streak shooter would be max.
more versatile defender would be Ron Ron cause he could play 2 different positions.

who I want to shoot for the last shot, Max no contest.
however, between Tmac and Ron Ron, Ron Ron FOR SURE!!!

leaving the team for wierd reasons. Ron Artest wins that. Max left cause he lost his starting job and wasn't guaranteed a contract extension.

Ron Artest left the Pacers to start a music label. hahaha

I'm so happy he's on our team. I'm tired of these pansies Yao and Tmac fans, the Ron Ron fans, the red carpet is out for you guys!

This is going down to the wire as one of the best trade ever made by the Rockets. This time it is the real time!

Maybe so.. but you can't deny there was something about Vernon that Artest doesn't have. You always just knew he was going to come through in the clutch. It was a given. Some of the threes he hit I'll remember forever. Maybe it was my Rockets love back then, but there was something about Maxwell where you just KNEW he would come through.

Maxwell was also a more explosive offensive scorer than Artest is. Artest may be more consistent, but when they're both on, Mad Max has the advantage. Maxwell was also a great defender. I think Artest might edge out for you because of consistency, but man people forget Vernon was a helluva player.

Who holds the record for most points in a quarter for the Rockets DD?

When the Tru Warrior pulls off a Clutch City game 3 vs Phoenix, then I'll put him up there in the HERO category.

    Not yet though.

Artest gives us the attitude we've been lacking.

Now let's hope Yao can step up and become the leader we need, 'cause T-Mac simply doesn't have it in him.

    I never forgot.

Ron Ron is the closest thing to Max that these newbie Miley Cyrus / Paris Hilton Rocket fans will see. If people started getting angry that Ron Ron is getting technical fouls and pounding his chest and throwing punches, then they should n't be watching NBA basketball.

    What a great day!
