I think that´s what he is, he can either have a great game on both sides or a game like the one he had today, great at defense but killing any hope of montion offense.

To say the truth, he has been great for me, evendoe i don´t like his kinda-wantto take overs, you have to live with them because ocansionally he WILL take over for good, most likely, not.

He has played good when we had good leads, not having to take anything over, he has not been a headcase here, he has provided leadership and he has come at a great price.

So far, i think i need all but thank this guy for what he has brought to the rockets, without him, we would have been doomed this season, and he has been the oposite of our anti-hero T-Mac.

But, how can i tell you, i think, after this season, no matter how far we go (okay, we will rethink this if we sweep the lakers) he will have to go for good.

In few words, he doesn´t really fit, he is not playing at his level, he is not in rythm with the team neither.

If i were the Rox GM i would call San Antonio, arrange a sign and trade for Ginobili, and ship him here, that would be my thanks to him, sending him to a good team, and not a garbage one, and in return get a player like ginobili healthy (he had the same that Yao had the last season and we could see that is not a career ending injury).

i think he fits adelman offense beautifully, is a good defender (battier returns to be our primarily defender) and we can play him alongside almost any formation, Yao-Scola-Brooks-TMac-Wafer, he is used at playing will ballhogs (Parker) and good team players (rest of the spurs), and he will still have leadership, experience, and the winning mentality Ron installed here with his coming.

His contract also expires the same year as T-Mac´s so that won´t bother us, and we can resign him if we want to. Also gives us the chance to get the most from T-Mac because his spot will be well covered, or from Battier if we can get the formation DoesntCare-Ginobili-McGrady-Scola-Ming to work.

    Thoughts?

Artest and AB both kill this team whenever they're on the court together.

He can NOT save you, he is an inefficient player who thinks he is better than he really is, I hope the Rockets are not stupid enough to offer him a contract, just let him walk.

With him and Battier we have 2 redundant wings....we need Wafer's energy and offensive ability.

    Mo-Ron has to go.

Ron artest is one of the most cockiest and underskilled 1 on 1 players in the league, he is at best a role player on offense.

I think Ron's injured. That's what happened when he shot badly early in the year. I think Artest is a pretty decent shooter if he's fully healthy. Right now it just seems he has no rhythm or confidence in his shots. I have to think that he's injured.

We definitely need more from Artest. 3 for 9 from your best wing man is not going to win this series.

    Have you read my post??

For real people, read and answer, or doon´t post.

I didn´t think he is skilled, i think he saves you with the mentality he brought here!!

I don´t compare him to tmac.

I don´t think we have to keep artest.

Please for real read the post, it took me 1 min to re-read it.

Ron was bad tonight but this was a team loss. The Rockets as a whole were way too careless with the ball, Yao couldn't capitalize on a lot of good looks and most of all we let Portland out hustle us.

Blame Ron but this was a team loss.

It's time to give Von Ron's starting position.

Like DaDa said. Let him walk. He's terrible for this team.

Artest and Battier needs to switch roles. Battier shoot more + defense while Artest just defense. Can't have Batman taking only 3 shots.

"The he can save you and he can kill you" can be said for Von Wafer and Aaron Brooks also.
