Artest doesn't lead Scola by much in the inches department.

    Kobe told me.

Seriously, though... it's clear that Artest doesn't have much verticals... he was easily one of "America's Most Rejected" on drives to the rim. Not that he didn't help the team (particularly with defense and 3 pt shooting), but I remember that he got swatted on about 20% of his layup attemps.

    Nobody can resist Artest's inches.

Note that Artest said "2 inches OFF THE GROUND." It's pretty impressive to be only 2 inches off the ground in that department. Luis would have had trouble playing in the Stockton-shorts era.

^Wow Ron is looking really fit. Did he slim down? At any rate, I remember O'neal saying something like Artest is one of the charismatic players in the league. He says the right things and when you talk to him he makes absolute sense, which is why it is always such a surprise when he goes nuts on and off the court. Its too bad really because with his distinct personality and on court ability Artest could have gone down as one of the greats.

    So I don't get flamed...
I think he's cool and all...
But I dislike his decision making on the court.
People talk about Tmac ballstopping RA's offense...
    This guy.... Yeah.

There was an article sometime in the summer saying that Artest had slimmed down to his DPOY weight.
