Ooooooooo baby, you guys check out these rides: (broadband preferably) X / Deja Vu http://mfile.akamai.com/3488/rm/six...8/parks/magicmountain/media/xtremepark300.ram Titan http://mfile.akamai.com/3488/rm/six...m/3488/parks/overtexas/media/titananim300.ram Superman - Ultra Flite http://mfile.akamai.com/3488/rm/six...488/parks/overgeorgia/media/SupermanUF300.ram Holy crap, is that bad ass or what??? Superman looks kinda weak, but the rest..... DAMN! That drop on Titan made me sick just looking at it. And I've never seen anything like X before - awesome new concept, turning the seats as the ride goes. Man, gotta ride those.
Man, so have they built 'X' yet? It seems like I remember reading about that thing being in production several years ago. Six Flags Magic Mountain really is the premier theme park in the US, IMO. I've been to Cedar Park, which has held the record for most coasters in one park several times, but their coasters just didn't hold up to the ones I rode in SFMM, although I havn't ridden<sp> Cedar Park's new Millennium Force. X definitely looks bad ass.
Yep - 'X' has been open since January. Thank God, my cousin is having a wedding in L.A. next month. I gotta convince everyone to make a trip to Magic Mountain. Man, this just reminds me how much the one in Houston SUCKS! Why don't they get a clue and put rides like THAT here?
I haven't checked them out, but it looks like you need Real Player... .ram is a Real Audio Media file... i think.
Astroworld is a great park. Dungeon Drop, Serial Thriller, Texas Tornado (when it's open), The Viper, Ultra Twister, Greezed Lightnin', Batman, and Texas Cyclone are all great rides. Heck, even the Mayan Mindbender is better since they speeded it up. Now that they combined Astroworld and Waterworld into one gigantic park, it's also one of the best amusement park values you'll ever get. Astroworld is definitely one of the most underrated amusement parks around...
