Two players who would fit into roles so nicely for the Rox, but won't get here:

The 1st is a veteran '1', can spend long stretches on the bench, can feed the post, is very mature. Still has game. And is in Dallas rotting away -- AJ.

The 2nd starts and plays significant minutes at the '4' in the East, good hustle, great shot, a latter day Bull, Matt that is -- Garrity.

Either or both these fellows could fit role needs with the Rox. Shame it's not in the cards.

At the '1' I'm thinking more of Kenny Anderson, who is unhappy in Seattle and would be an upgrade over Mooch, plus maybe creating a way to involve Rashard in the trade, making Posey the best 6th man in the league.

I know I kind of stretched it but hey, stranger things have happened.

There is a chance Kenny Anderson will be the starting PG if they trade or not resign Payton.

And no way Seattle trade Lewis. I think they see him as one of their core players.

I agree that we still need a better backup PG and maybe a veteran reserve 4.

Give Eddie one more year and he will develop.
I would love to unload MO T's huge salary and trade for garrity but it will happen when pigs fly.
