I haven't heard him mentioned much...and then suddenly a story emerges where he quotes Jordan as saying they may take him #1...AND...Jerry West says he is the best player in the draft "hands down"...

    Hype or for real?

Rodney White is a good prospect, but talk about the number one is probably misdirection. If Jordan wants him, he can have him at a later pick and get a nice player for trading down.

If Jerry West spoke highly of White, we have to take that seriously. He pulled off a trade a few years ago to get the 13 pick, whose name escapes me, but I think he turned into a pretty good player. Oh yeah, it was Kobe something....

White has the body the NBA loves right now. A T-Mac with more muscle.

I don't doubt it. White, Griffin, and Johnson are three prospects that are going to be real difference makers this year. Now this RAD guy is coming out of no where but if the Rockets still keep their 3 picks maybe I would feel more comfortable if we take him then if we took him as our only pick.

I don't know why, but I have this gut feeling that White is the player the Rockets are really after.
