Creed would have crushed everyone (even Rocky) during his prime. Between Clubber and Drago? I'm honestly not certain, but I'll give the nod towards Clubber. If Rocky can cut Drago, Clubber certainly would. P.S. It was Rocky that killed Creed, not Drago.
Err, reason for Creed. He was past his prime and didn't take his training seriously, yet was still able to beat Balboa. (near draw on 2nd fight) If Rocky could beat the rest (even when Rocky was aging), then Creed in his prime certainly seems like the logical champion.
Where's Thunderlips, the Ultimate Male? While Benito certainly makes a good point for Creed, he himself didn't have the "eye of the tiger" in the first two movies. He was too concerned with making money and headlines because he felt Rocky would be no threat. That's why Rocky beat him in the first place. Ivan Drago vs. Clubber Lang Got to go with Clubber here, he was just quicker and more brutal, he would destroy Ivan. Apollo Creed vs. Clubber Lang Apollo Creed, he was almost as strong, much quicker and a much better boxer, he would punish Lang from a distance. Ivan Drago vs. Apollo Creed Creed, but by a thin hair, Drago would bother him with his reach, but ultimatly Creed's boxing skills win out. Neat thread. DD
can't believe I'm taking part in this.. but i do enjoy the Rocky movies.. those being Rocky and Rocky II... the others were entertaining.. when I was a child.. but if I remember correctly.. Clubber Lang was about Rocky's height.. maybe a half inch taller.. and was more of a bulldog in his fighting technique.. that being.. he mostly charged at his opponent.. not much on foot work.. so wouldn't Drago's reach give him more problems than he would Creed..?
