Ivan Drago vs. Clubber Lang Apollo Creed vs. Clubber Lang Ivan Drago vs. Apollo Creed Ivan Drago (Rocky IV) "I must break you." He is big and strong, but somewhat slow. His reach, height and punching power give him big advantages over the other opponents. Plus, he's on the roids. A fearsome opponent. Strengths: size, strength, height, reach Weaknesses: slow, inexperienced Clubber Lang (Rocky III) "Dead meat." Probably has the greatest raw strength of the 3, and is also very fast. Has a vicious mean streak and a bad temper. Just wants to destroy everybody. Also, it cannot be ignored that he was the only fighter to ever knock out Rocky. He got winded toward the end of their rematch, though, so stamina might be a problem. Strengths: raw power, speed, killer instinct Weaknesses: stamina, hotheadedness Apollo Creed (Rocky, Rocky II) "Eye of the tiger, man. Eye of the tiger." The Master of Disaster, the King of Sting, the Count of Monte Fistco, etc.., etc.. Apollo is the fastest, smartest, and most experienced of the 3 fighters. He lacks the strength of the others, but tends to rely more on outwitting and outlasting his opponents. Can be brash and too cocky sometimes, which was his downfall in Rocky IV. Strengths: speed, intelligence, experience Weaknesses: strength, overconfidence ** Remember, assume each fighter is in his prime. Apollo was over the hill when he fought Drago in Rocky IV, but could Drago have beaten him when he was in his prime? Tommy Gunn and Mason 'the line' Dixon get excluded because they are pretenders who aren't in the same league as these guys.
Pfft.. Clubber, Drago or Apollo could take on Dixon and Gunn at the same time. Ka-ching! Ka-chang! Even Spider Rico would be a bigger challenge than those chumps.
