I love Mobley's moves, but the guy is too erratic at times, especially in the 4th quarter. He'll either take it in for two or hit a jumper or do some stupid through-the-legs play where he'll turn it over. He tries to do too much fancy crap and shoots alot of bricks sometimes. I can only take so much Cuttino iso plays Rudy. They don't pay off enough to do it 5 times in a row down the court. I would rather see the Rocks move the ball around let Cat take a pass and drive it rather than call his own play. I think Francis could probably score 45 a night if he got the kind of shots Iverson gets. He doesn't need to shoot as much as Iverson, but Francis definitely needs more shots. He shoots really well and could score 30 a night if he got 2/3 the shots Iverson gets. On a great night I could see him scoring 60 if he Allen's shots. ------------------

Just because we are tanking doesn't mean we should bash everybody off the team but Franchise. Take a clue from thecabbage's great thread...criticize for constructive purposes. And learn to cheer for the team, not just your favorite player; you'll enjoy their progress a whole lot better. The guy kills me in the 4th quarter when the Rockets need a bucket and he dribbles it off his foot trying to do a stupid thing where he hands the ball back and forth between his legs that does nothing to fake his defender out. Those plays are what makes me angry with him. If he would cut that crap out and just play ball as Calvin would say then he would be even better than he is now. ------------------

Ok this topic is good. Tell you the truth in the beginning of the year, I was sick of mobley. He played alot with the ball and didnt take good shots. Now he is a smart player. He knows what to do with the ball at right times. From what I can see Mobley has brought his FG percentage up and that's all that matters to me. He's got talent, and now he appears to be hitting his shots instead of jacking up stupid shots with 4 defenders and no Rockets under the goal. Can't wait till I move. I need a satellite dish. He's up over 42% now. Excellent improvement in that area, IMO. Definitely a bright spot. ------------------
I particularly like Mobley for his no-look pass out of bounds or to the opposing team myself . You never know what that guy will do. He's a valuable member of this Rocket team. However, he plays like he's on the Harlem Globetrotters at times.....like he's trying to showboat so he can make the ESPN highlight reels. And that will just not be tolerated .
