Tito Maddux is good, Predrag Savovic is better. Rockets will be sorry for passing on this guy. Maddux will be lucky to make the team. Savovic would have been an excellent swingman. Oh, well - Ming & Nachbar were much better picks (altho I still prefer Jiri Welsch slightly more than Nachbar). Regardless, Houston needs to make a few more moves to remain out of the lottery next year. The 3 & 4 are too crowded, not all of those guys will get minutes. Anyone smell a trade or two?
The Rockets need to do 3 things to stay out of the lottery next year. Stay Healthy Play Team Basketball Make a commitment to playing defense. The players have the talent, do they have the heart? I hope so. Making a post should make you feel better but strangly now I feel worse...
We can still invite Savovic to try out, which I suggested in this thread. Savovic will have an NBA career. I just have a hunch.
