Yahoo has started it's NBA Fantasy Leagues. I have created a Clutch City league, just for fun. If you like to play fantasy NBA and are just a casual player...not all 'die-hard' like the folks in the Fantasy Forum, then this league might be for you... It's your league rockHEAD so I'm not one to argue with how you set it up, but don't you think you put too much emphasis on points and not enough on any of the other factors like assists, steals, blocks? I mean from the way I see it, making one three pointer would be just as good a blocking 36 shots! Just trying to help.

A popluar fantasy hoops game that I play has the following point system: (Smallworld/The Sporting News Scoring System): point scored (1) rebound (1.5) assist (2) steal (2.5) block (2.5) turnover (-1) missed field goal (-0.5) missed free throw (-1) triple double (10) other possible additional points (personal input): offensive rebound (2) 3 pointer made (1) technical foul (-3) "The Rasheed Wallace Rule"
Looks like one extreme to the other. Imo you should leave it the way it is,except lower a 3 pointer to 2 and a regular goal to 1.Assists steals and blocks should all be worth a half pont each.And - 10 for an ejection is waaaay to harsh.Thats my 02 cents.

changes made to scoring system (see first post). we're playing in a points league, so whoever has the most points wins. It won't matter if you win by 100 pts or 1000 pts... it'll still be fun. we still have room, so join up! rH

not necessarily, oily.... i posted in here cause more of the 'general users' would see this post. if i posted it in the fantasy forum, a lot of folks might not see it.. I don't visit the fantasy forum very much since I don't do the sim stuff... i wanted a broader user base, thus my post to the hangout. **cough, cough*** rH
Ok I am going to try Fantasy Sports again. I gave up on the others b/c of time but what the hell. So how is the draft going to work? Oh and BTW Johnny Rocket's Team is going to kick some @$$. I hope.
JR, the draft is done automatically, as soon as our league fills up, I change the status to READY, and usually in about 24-48 hours your players show up.. RR, official play begins when the season starts.. so hang in there... couple of things to remember... if you have players that aren't playing a particular night, substitute them for players that are playing or remove them from the active lineup. if you don't, by the end of the season, you may not be able to play all of your player cause they're used up! you'll see once play starts. we have 10 teams and room for 2 more... or more if the 2 spots fill up and people still want to play!! join now! good luck to everyone rH
