    Obviously I'm not a very active poster, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I was in Texas this summer with friends (I live in Queens NY) and had a great time talking to Rockets fans around Houston. All the Texans I met were very nice and a bunch of people bought me drinks because they were impressed with the old school Rockets jerseys I was wearing.

    You guys can guess the jersey and bonus points if anyone can identify the location!

    Given your age and the reaction you received, I'll say it's Otis Thorpe, but it could also be Robert Reid.

    Well done. As much as I wish I had a Robert Reid jersey, it is in fact, an OT one. I collect road jersey from players who played between the 92-93 to 94-95 seasons. If you have a Kennard Winchester jersey, holla at me:)

    I'll let everyone know next time I'm in town - this was sort of an unplanned trip and was doing everything on the fly...I later went on to San Antonio and Austin, good times both.

    TexasFlight is correct - that's right near Two Rows in Rice Village

    And to be sure, I was 16 when I got the BBS membership (I'm 28 now but admit I look pretty young in that getup)...I think Clutch hooked me up with beta access to help kick the tires, but it was so long ago I forgot.
