It seems to me that more than any other team in the league, the chance that the rockets will win is affected very little by the record of the team they play. They seem to have equal or better records against all the top teams in the league. But have lost quite a bit against the lowest teams. This cannot be true on a league wide basis.

I would be very interested to see some statistical analysis on this issue...

(I would propose adding up the team number of wins and the team numbers of losses for each time that each team lost to the rockets, and the number of wins and number of losses for each time that each team won against the rockets). I suspect the overall win:loss ratio for the (winners against the rockets) and the (losers against the rockets) will differ less than for any other team in the league.

It's a big joke around the office...when the Rox play scrubs, they usually lose, even at home, but when they play the best teams, they win. Thankfully they've got a tough schedule!

Haven't the Rockets ALWAYS been like this. Even back in the Championship days...
