Do we have to rank everything these days? I bet none of these fools has ever seen how any of these courts look on TV or in person.
Our courts are not unique....its just wood with red trimmings. our jerseys dont match the court. our grey jerseys are just awful, and the regular ones are barely tolerable (only on the road, at times, due to lighting in other arenas). we need a full makeover. maybe after we get KD
Yeah, well SI ranked them 24th! So take that Chicago Tribune! Spoiler 30. LA Clippers 29. Oklahoma City 28. Minnesota 27. Phoenix 26. Utah 25. Dallas 24. Houston 23. Washington 22. Chicago 21. Detroit 20. Miami 19. Memphis 18. New York 17. Indiana 16. Cleveland 15. Orlando 14. Sacramento 13. San Antonio 12. Portland 11. New Orleans 10. Philadelphia 9. Atlanta 8. Denver 7. Charlotte 6. LA Lakers 5. Toronto 4. Golden State 3. Boston 2. Milwaukee 1. Brooklyn
These guys are probably Bulls fans. What do you expect? They have horrible taste. Anyway I love atlanta's court, the rockets are average and who the heck even cares that much for court designs.
Some courts have very bright reflections coming off of them, which I find annoying. Cleveland is bad I believe. Has nothing to do with the paint, but something I have noticed.
I've said this for years. We've had the worst courts in our franchise's existence. Yes. Including the beloved championship era. That was as dull as it got. THen we went over the top cartoon looking court. Now we have the most plain and boring court. Something about it just sucks all the energy right out of the building. From the faded red movie theater like seating to the 2 tone wood floor with no color. It puts me to sleep. I hate Dallas, but i envy how vivid their court looks on tv, the entire atmosphere is so alive and exciting, the opposite of a Rockets game.
Our court is very ordinary and boring. I don't know about worst court, but the team needs a re-design of everything from logo to jersey to the on-court product.
For me i think certain colors evoke certain energy/emotions. Cleveland for me is terrible because their dark colors and the way they match with their wood tone just give off negative energy. It really makes me feel sleepy. Something like Dallas or GS is lively and loud because of their bright and vivid colors.
The only points we get is for going no solid color as if it is unique. The Suns did that first and we copied them, so did several other teams, except were the only ones who haven't moved on from that look of the mid to late 2000's era. Everything about our brand screams the mid 2000's of try so hard to be modern or unique that none of it will look classic. It was an experimental phase as much as the late 90s cartoon era.
Clickbaiting articles. Unless there is a court thats godawful and makes your eyes bleed, most of the courts are just average. No point ranking smth that doesnt stick out almost at all. The best though you remember them and they change the whole atmosphere. Atlanta Charlotte Brooklyn.
solid colors are prone to highlighting. also blocks of glossy red and white can be a retina burn, not really the best tv friendly color scheme. a complicated floor design can mean compression artifacts.
The court isn't offensive or anything.. just kind of boring. I don't mind the logo, but the rest of the branding needs a complete re-design.
