If the Rockets were without steve this team would be exactly like Clevland was last season. ( pre Lerbron) The rockets would be almost Identical:

    Rockets Cavs
    PG: Wilkes Palacio
    SG: Mobley R.Davis
    SF: Jackson Miles
    PF: Taylor Boozer
    C: Ming Big Z

and the bench would be about the same as well but the only differnce would be the record as the rockets would have a much worst record the Clevland did last season. Yao and Big Z are pretty much the same player except for the fact that Yao is a few inches taller. Mobley and R. Davis are even as far as talent because they are both ball hogs whi want to put up as many shots as humanly possible and boozer and taylor are even as well beacsue talylor gives only offense but Boozer gives you defense and rebounding/ shot blocking. The only position the rockets would have an edge is SF with Jackson. The team with out Francis would be a disaster.

In other words, SF3 = LBJ.

This thread is now tied with the other similar thread as the dumbest thread .... Well at least you gave us the Cavs a team that has a chance to make the playoffs instead of the Wiz

As silly as the other thread was, this, IMO, o'er leaps it, in that it's purpose is a rebuttle of the inane.

( Of course, so is my post here, to a degree, so what are you gonna do?)

I agree. The other thread has someone saying that Steve is like a journeyman PG and this one says Yao is no Better than Ilgauskas.

I guess it's debatable whether Steve is better or worse than Lebron, but if they were roughly the same, wouldn't that mean the Cavs are as good or better than us this season? Aren't we 17 games ahead of them in a tougher conference?

I understand when a player is doing well, you give props. But when that player is screwing up the team, nothing will fall for him for the whole year, and you still give props ?????

Name one max player is shooting worse than 39.8% for the year

    ....

I got it for you, it's AI, but look where Phily is on the ranking chart.

Without Yao, this team is a lottery bound year in and year out.

Except that it was on 47 shots. I wonder how many of the 25 rebounds were off of his own bricks?

Wow, Big Z's # last year were almost identical to Yao's this year. Big Z scored a little more and Yao got about 1 rebound more. Yao has a way better shooting % though.
