Ralph's big moment as a Rock. ESPN Classic DaDakota ------------------ If Mankind evolved from Monkeys and Apes, then why are there still Monkeys and apes?
College football is on my classic sport channel. ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know.
Its on NBA.com TV on the dish. ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know.
Right, I meant Channel 720 on Direct TV. Sorry, DaDakota ------------------ If Mankind evolved from Monkeys and Apes, then why are there still Monkeys and apes?
Channel 310 for those in Round Rock. ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
Indeed my favorite...But one question sits in my tiny little head that keeps bothering me, (the question, not my head. If Houston had not blown the lead in the Phoenix series, and been called CHOKE CITY...what would be the name of this site and your handle Clutch????? ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
Clutch, Don't overlook Bobby Joe's 3 pointer that tied the game with 48 seconds left. Miraculous. DaDakota ------------------ If Mankind evolved from Monkeys and Apes, then why are there still Monkeys and apes?
Im watching it right now, it sure is fun to see hakeem move quick. ------------------ "You look a team that's been to the mountaintop like the Houston Rockets, I'm going to put pressure on myself to be the best possible player that I can be. With the pieces they already have in place and myself, we can do some amazing things next season." Maurice Taylor
DaDakota -- thanks for letting me know.... so cool to watch that game again. [*] Hakeem Olajuwon was incredible. There is no other word to describe it. He never looked tired, he was all over the offensive glass, he was making Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy and Maurice Lucas look silly. Too strong for Lucas and too quick for Kareem. People talk about how Hakeem had such a good game last night with 17 points.... he had that in the third quarter alone of this game. [*] Don't ever question that Pat Riley sent in Mitch Kupchak deliberately to get Hakeem out of the game. Dream was killing them and right then Kupchak came in to the game.... first trip up on the fast break Kupchak came out of the left side of your screen and just threw himself in to Hakeem's back intentionally as Hakeem was looking for a rebound. [*] However, when the fight broke out, Hakeem was taking the bait... he slapped Kupchak first with a left to the chest, but Kupchak made it a legitimate fight by trying to knock down Dream. Dream immediately responded with blows to the face. [*] I wish Jim Petersen had knocked James Worthy on his ass when Worthy kept pushing him during the fight. [*] So strange seeing Rudy T, assistant coach. How far back does he go with Dream? It was Rudy who was trying to calm down Dream there along with Bill Fitch. [*] Hilarious to hear the crowd's reaction change from boos to unbelievable cheers when they announced Hakeem was ejected from the game. They knew how badly they were getting torched by Dream. [*] Another time a completely different game. The NBA game was so much more exciting then. Anyone see how fast the Lakers would push the ball up to the other end of the court after a miss or made shot by the Rockets? [*] Rodney McCray and Mitchell Wiggins -- unsung heroes. They saved the Rockets' bacon by knocking that rebound out of James Worthy's hands, then in turn getting the ball in to Robert Reid's hands again for another three-point shot to tie. [*] Ralph's shot -- amazing. ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
How fitting they play the "Clutch City" video (93-94 season) right after the game BTW, who thinks we should request the Rockets release a DVD with both "Clutch City" and "Double Clutch" on it? ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
