He better rot on the bench or be waived, I've never booed a rockets player but I may start.

That is a positive way of looking at it. At least the team gets a vet pg to help out while Lowry gets back and Camby can help out the interior D and rebounding.

Deal appears to be the price of Fisher's contract buyout for a 2012 late first round draft pick.

I'm hoping he takes Flynn role. Provide a solid 10mpg now and then not play at all.

    Correct.

Interesting side note: If the Lakers want him back next year for one more title run (even if as a minimum bench guy), he'd have to waive his player option to do so, saving the Rockets from most of the salary cap burden it took on in order to get that first round pick.

If Fisher waives his player option, then Morey would have essentially bought a first round pick in the early 20s for a meager $153k.

    (Fingers crossed.)

There are still a few trades to be announced according to Mannix? I hope one involves the Rockets for PG cover.

Fisher would have to be incredibly stupid to give up his leverage like that, and at this stage of his career, that probably will not be happening.

Beasley to LA would have been bad. Glad that deal fell through.
