According to BKR we are #2 and #5 and NBA #2 and #6 (by .3 behind GSW and SAS). And it can only get better. I do still want to see how we do against some top teams with CP3, but there’s very little doubt that we are a elite regular season team.

Any team with Harden leading it's offense will allways be a top 2 or 4 team but the defense has been outstanding. Having said that, i still feel there is room for growth in that department so as the season rolls on we might even get better.

Schedule has been easy. But I'm optimistic. Paul is the most important defensive piece and he just came back. He will elevate others on defense with his leadership on that end. Moute and Tucker will get more and more familiar, Ariza will be more well rested. Even Harden is doing relatively well on defense.

If we're top 5 in both categories come playoff time, then that's a really legit contender.

Easy? Plenty of teams considered good to great have lost to Pacers, Knicks, Cavs, Jazz, Grizzlies, Nuggets, Warriors and Raptors. Also we are the only team in top 5 in both...

We did pretty well with CP3 in game one against a team Daryl Morey thinks would beat any NBA team ever. If that wasn't a test, I'm not sure I know what a test is.

We've played the two of the most recent NBA champions and beat both. I don't get this. The teams we've played are 148 and 171. I'm not going to sit here and say it was the most difficult schedule in the league, but we were short-handed and played 3 sets of back-to-backs. Celtics look like they've played a tough schedule but their opponents are just 196 and 194 with 3 back-to-backs as well.

We're a good team right now and there's nothing wrong with saying that. It's also early, so I get people that are trying to take this early success as less significant. But in the end we all want a champion, not just a regular season champ.

Yes but our schedule has been easy relative to our remaining schedule. It just makes sense to assume we will not perform as well as we have. While we got Chris Paul back, I'm not sure our chemistry has been seriously tested yet. We've had good wins, but this team is not done developing chemistry - especially defensive chemistry. It's definitely helpful to have had Paul eased in to the line up against some easier opponents before we go through some new tests,

I'm optimistic about this team. Our record in December is going to be the biggest indication of what kind of playoff team we'll be.
