Rockets to wear retro jerseys for the April 6th game vs Orlando

    What's Old Is New Again: Reebok Set To Market NBA Retro Togs
    Select NBA teams will don retro jerseys for six games between mid-February and early April in a "turn back the clock" marketing effort behind Reebok's Hardwood Classic licensed NBA apparel line. While entire teams will wear classic jerseys, the program will bring to market jerseys combining retro looks with the names and numbers of current stars. Thus, Allen Iverson's name and number will adorn a vintage 76ers' jersey worn during the '82-83 season -- the date of the team's last championship. Likewise, Rockets G Steve Francis, another Reebok endorser, will wear a jersey from the Rockets' championship years.

    DETAILS: The program tips off February 16 when the Kings take the floor against the Spurs in jerseys from the K.C. Royals' '64-65 season, in what will be billed as Oscar Robertson Tribute Night. The Nets will wear the same jerseys as their '75-76 ABA Championship squad in a February 20 contest with the Pacers, another former ABA franchise. The Bucks and Suns will commemorate their 35th anniversaries by wearing retro togs in a February 26 game. The 76ers will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their last title in a game versus the Trail Blazers on March 14. The Nuggets will turn back the clock with uniforms from the '89-90 season in a game against the Knicks on April 2. A Rockets-Magic contest April 6 concludes the nostalgia fest.

    It sounds like Reebok will be selling these. I'd definitely buy a retro Francis jersey...

    I hope that I'm not the only one that noticed this but didn't Clyde's pants always seem to be a bit "tight".
