An article on how the Nets are already throwing in the towel, even though Game 4 has yet to be played: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news/20020611/netsfeature.html Excerpt: No NBA team has rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win a seven-game series at any level, a fact that is not lost on Lakers guard Brian Shaw. "You're kind of wanting to save face and at least get one victory but also knowing that no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit before, it's a tough situation," Shaw said. As a member of the Orlando Magic in 1995, Shaw and current teammate Shaquille O'Neal were swept by the Houston Rockets. He has a pretty good idea about the havoc that stat is creating in the overall pysche of the Nets and has no sympathy for them. "We were stuck in traffic about two hours, and every guy that passed by had a broom and were hitting the bus because we were at a dead stop in traffic," Shaw said. "For two hours after the game, we had to take all of that. "We definitely know all the different thoughts and things that are going on in the Nets' minds. It happened to us, so it makes us want to make somebody feel like that even more." .......................... Wow, did that really happen? Did anyone hear about that, or better yet, did anyone here actually take a broom and hit their bus with it?
That is funny!!! Yea - I can remember that one summer night when all of southeast texas went crazy... People were on freeways and in trees on top of cars yelling sweep and Clutch City... I'm pretty sure if it were L.A. it wouldn't have been brooms it would have been Molotov Cocktail Bombs being thrown at the bus.
