It must have been a very productive summer for Houston, yes?
Hell no. You're the last team on my scale, if we take a look on how the teams drafted this year. I can't stand it. You are so hot about some 31st pick, and you are making him a star already.
You haven't done anything yet in free agency, and you laugh at teams like Chicago and others.
You didn't use your 'famous' $4.5M exeption, the one you were so proud of before the summer. I remember, you were suposed to get a player like Duncan with that thing. Now you're saying "Lets get Outlaw with our exeption", and you wont get him either.
    Want Hersey Hawkins?
You already now that I'm a Bulls fan.
You are so hot about some players like Shandon Anderson and Mobley, and you don't realise that even the Bulls have better backcourt than Houston, with Mercer (17ppg) and Artest (11ppg - 4th youngest player in NBA last season). You can say anything about Mercer but the reality is this - He managed to score 17 points (career average) in every single game in his three year carier. SOmebody told me - " He can't play defence" - Mobley and Francis can't too and ... ?
Although I think you got Shandon last summer very very cheap, you must stop making this thing like you got a MAX player with your $2M exception. He is just a $4M player lets say.
You are so happy to have a "young shotblocking center like Cato". But the true thing about him is he averages 8pts and 6rebs, numbers that even Brad Miller had in Charlotte with frontcourt with Mason,Coleman and Campbell.
    And he's overpaid. period.
Only team I can think in a second which could be worst than Houston, is Detroit.
Vancouver,Chicago,Cleveland,Clippers and few others improved, and will be better than you this season.
I'm jelous guys. You might have a greatest chance to land Eddie Curry next summer.
    hahahahahaha.
And i thought at one thing ...
    LOL ....
Kenny Thomas and Jason Collier vs. Elton Brand and Marcus Fizer.
    ...
    hahahahahahaha
The score here would be - Rockets 0, Bulls ???

I love you my friends, I'll watch your responses, and I'll write back some things.

And yes, my 'real' name is Roy D. Elton, not Corey Benjamin.

    See ya.

Let's say for a moment you were right and the Rockets didn't improve over last season (which is without a doubt not the truth). And that you had a better offseason than we did (which is debatable). Then that would mean the slaughtering of the Bulls on March 26 by 45 points, 123 - 78, will only be by 35 points next year. I think you can start playing with your lottery balls now.

Here in Iowa City I read the Chicago Tribune and sometimes the Sun-Times. I think they pay their sportswriters by the word to vilify Krause and the Bulls organization. AND THEY DO IT EVERY DAY.
Maybe we're done tinkering, maybe not. Maybe the Bulls, maybe not. But you gotta admit: the Bulls, with all that money, haven't done jack-squat. Word is out. No one wants to work for the Jerrys.
Sorry that I dignified this thread with a response. Off to work now.

Isn't Corey Benjamin a guy the Bulls have been trying to dump?! How appropriate that you choose it.

yes it has been a very productive summer for the Rocks. They kept Mobley. That is all they needed. They got a sf for the future, and a project in Collier. And a draft pick for next year.

and what did Chicago get? A backup for their best player, a decent rookie pg, and Ron Mercer. Maybe Chicago will win a few more games. Like 5. Your lousy team did not improve that much, and the Rockets are still that much better just by keeping their FAs, just like Chicago should have done a few years back.

The title of this thread should be changed to "Bulls fans sit with thumbs up their asses" cuz that is about all the amusement you will get this season.

Here is the post that ran you off before.

    enjoy troll.

"Since Roy D. Elton couldn't handle it once he got back what he dished out and deleted his thread, I decided to re-post my comments on it. Feel free to do the same.

Look out for Dragan Tarlac, people. Word has it he is incredibly polished -- has been playing hoops since the womb. He's just 15, stands 8'6" tall and weighs like 450 pounds, but manages to run the floor and jump like a gazelle. Palms the basketball with one finger. He accidentally stepped on Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf down in Turkey (didn't see him -- everyone else was standing to salute the flag)... wasn't pretty. My God what a pickup for the Bulls. It's all over for the league now.

Isn't it amazing when two lottery teams talk trash to one another? OK, here it goes.

    Bulls Draft picks
1989 -- Krause, the genius, with the 6th pick. Shawn Kemp? Tim Hardaway? Mookie Blaylock? Vlade Divac? Nick Anderson? Hell no! Stacey King is Krause's man!!
Keith Booth -- currently mows my lawn.
Corie Blount -- This was an example of a good Bulls draft pick? Oh, same draft -- one pick ahead. Rockets take Sam Cassell.
Travis Knight -- yes, the very same player who shot worse this season (39%) than Kenny Thomas, who you seem to bash consistently for shooting poorly.
Ron Artest -- personally I think he was a great pick, but alas, he shot just .407 from the field, a whopping .008 higher than Kenny Thomas in their rookie seasons, thus he blows.
    Mark Randall -- Huh? Right.
    Dickey Simpkins -- [crickets chirping]

    Rockets Draft Picks
    Sam Cassell
    Robert Horry
    Othella Harrington
    Cuttino Mobley
    Michael Dickerson
    Kenny Thomas

You had the best pick in the 1999 NBA Draft.
We settled for the best player in the 1999 NBA Draft.

Steve Francis wanted to play for Chicago... over Vancouver.
Steve Francis wanted to play for Houston... over Chicago.

We cut Matt Maloney because he was third string in Houston.
You signed Matt Maloney because he can start in Chicago.

    You want Cuttino Mobley.
    We have Cuttino Mobley.

    We suck bad.
    You suck very, very bad.

You're not from Chicago but from Macedonia.
We're from Houston ... and damn proud of it.

We get together in the evenings, kick back and talk intelligently about our team.
You were caught in Uncle Boris' sheep barn last night again, weren't ya?

    We speak English.
You speak... ("um, Reg... I'd like to use a lifeline here").

You very very bad man for very very bad team. You lose. Many. times. No win Lotto Race. You no sign Cuttino Mobley. We no allow it. Shoo. Go away. Stay away. Go back to sheep. Bye."

Even though i hate bulls fan and bulls fan still wear's his torn up "3 peat" t-shirts, this dude has a point.Houston came into this offseason, having come off a hot streak at the end of the season. They a lottery pick which everyone said they could pick up a Starting Forward of the future like Mike Miller, or Demarr Johnson. They also had a 4.5 mill exception, guys like Carlos Rogers, Bryce Drew, and more that they NEED to trade. And due to the Luxury Tax, Houston is the most popular team to trade with now. They could pick up an good player like a Rodney Rogers from the Suns or even a Jermaine O'neal from POrtland for little to nothing since those teams need to get some cap room, and we can afford those guys because of our exception. What have we done? We traded down to 15 in the draft where we got a guy who should and would have gone around 25.We passed on OlumideOyedeji, and instead traded up for Pat Garrity,i mean Dan Langhi even though we already have a Dan Langhi on our team (Matt Bullard). The only thing we did was resign Cuttino Mobley. Also, the rockets say that they are going to save so much cap money for next year's offseason. Sure there is Webber in the FA market...but who else is there? We wont sign Finley or Dikembe. We're 1 yr too late. Webber coming to houston is a long shot as it is.Atleast we'll have a high pick in a gfood draft next year.Of course what we could really use is someone BESIDES Rudy to pick for us in the 1st round since he obvously has problems lately in picking 1st rounders. As for Bulls fan, you should shutup. The rockets have a LOT better team then you're.What ever happened to getting Tim Thomas,Grant Hill,Tmac,or Tim Duncun? And no, dont play you're "well,we're gonna get Cwebb" card. The bulls will never get a top flight FA because of the way Jerry Krause treated pip and MJ.

Don't you think that if the rockets could get Jermaine O'neal for little to nothing like you said then they would. Truth is you don't know what the hell you are talking about so why don't you just shutup. All you are going by is what makes sense to you but there is more to trading than just swapping players there is this little thing called cap room that teams try to pay attention to dumbass.

    Roy,
Why even post anything here? I suppose if your opinion mattered, then maybe I could see it. Or perhaps you are confusing us with people who give a $hit about what you have to say.

Anyway, have a good night. Tell Lambchop hello for me.

    You forgot to compare centers....

    Cato/Olajuwon-Will Perdue/Dickey Simpkins

You forgot to mention that Cato is twice the shotblocker that Miller is

Now that sounds like a great matchup.

Artest is so amazingly overrated. The ONLY reason he scored anything more than 8, is because who else on the Bulls could put the ball in the basket? Anyone not named Elton Brand?

As far as the exception goes, we still have about 2 months left to use it. Speaking a little prematurely, are we?

At least Collier and Langhi aren't yelling at our coach.

I know he doesn't deserve a response, but I'll give him one.

There's something called skills. If you ever watched a Revue game, Langhi has great skills for the Rockets, and actually outplayed Fizer head to head in that game. You're making out the 4th pick to be a star, and if it's not okay for us to make out our pick as a star, why can you? Fizer is in no way more proven than Langhi.

We retained Cuttino Mobley. That's a much bigger thing than anything the Bulls have done this summer.

No one said we were going to get Duncan or Hill with that thing. No one ever said that. And newsflash- we have until October 1 to use the trade exception. That's two months. We've had a week. So 7/8 of our time is left, so there is no way you can say we didn't or won't use it. And if you've ever noticed one thing about Rocket trades, it's that they are NEVER leaked. According to hints given here by some posters, we have indeed been working on something big for the last month. However, if you know the Rockets at all, you would know that they do not leak this info out.

Bulls have a better backcourt than Houston? Put down the crack man. Mobley outdoes Mercer. Cat can take the ball off the dribble, play one on one, has the quickest step in the league, gets his teammates involved, and is a crunch time player. Mercer does none of that. Francis would kill Crawford. 'Nuff said. Shandon would kill Artest. Artest was an average player his rookie year who capitalized on being the 2nd option on a pitiful team. Shandon was not a featured option, but he still managed to score a lot. He defended the top players in the league very well. He played multiple positions. He hustled his butt off on the court. And he could step it up and score 30+ when needed. If he were a free agent this summer, he would at least command 6-7M.

If you hadn't heard, Cato will have a completely different appearance next season. He's working out every day to get much stronger. And how do you expect Cato to average more than 9 points and 6 rebounds in just 24 minutes of play when he isn't a featured option at all. See, that Miller comment is irrelevant, because Miller is ONLY a center. And Elden Campbell cannot play the whole game at this age. And Charlotte's offense is runsomewhat through the big men. Sure, they had Eddie Jones, but they went down low a lot. We never go down low hardly at all. We are a guard-oriented team. Cato has so many things to bring to the table. He is athletic, is very adept at catching the alleyoop pass off a backcut, has a nice jumper out to 18 feet that he was making at the end of the season, and is working to get even stronger. And that's not even mentioning his presence and shot-blocking on defense. A young center that can do all of those things would get close to the Max this summer. He is not overpayed at all.

Detroit? Detroit is much better than you guys, and I'll bet a lot of money they finish with a better record than you. It's funny that you mention teams like Vancouver and the Clippers, because idiot fans like you say the same thing year after year. They just look at a couple of stat sheets and see some very nice talent on those teams. Well, in case you haven't heard, teams aren't made on paper. They are made on talent a little, but for the most part on chemistry, heart, and desire. Those are three things this young Rockets team is full of.

To start with, you haven't seen what PF we'll bring in with our exception. Here's something I thought of, LOL...
Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, Shandon Anderson, Hakeem Olajuwon and Kelvin Cato vs. Jamal Crawford, Ron Artest, Ron Mercer, Will Perdue, and Chris Antsey

Hope you have fun in the cellar Corey while we're in the playoffs. Maybe you can make it to the playoffs by 2006. If you're lucky.

    Hi guys.
If you don't want me here, then I'll go and never come back. I thought it was interesting to here, what others think of the Rockets. I just wanted for a change to tell you who the Rockets realy are. I mean, like you all say, if the Rockets have second-best Pg in whole NBA, a top 10 center in Cato, great defender and descent scorer in Shandon, great individual in Mobley and so on..., than people we're talking about at least a western conference finalist here. But we all now that this is so far from reality. Sorry but this is it.
Somebody ask me, why I the Bulls' fan post here. Here is the story. Becouse I like this site. I mean, this is a greatest FAN site I ever found on the net. I can just wait to see a Bulls' fan site like this one. I've heard about this site one-two years ago for the first time. My friend Tony (Rockets' fan and member of this BBS also) told me about it. So this is it.
    Now , the answers...
ROXTXIA - Yes,you are correct the Bulls haven't hit the jack pot. I was afraid that we could lose Mercer too, to New Jersey but the league have helped us. Now we shall land Brad Miller, but if the price is $5M than I'm against it.
CUTTINO - Sorry, my fault. I meant SG, not backcourt. I say the Bulls now have better SG spot than Houston.
And for the end, the question. Are you a gay, and is the Cuttino Mobley your boyfriend. I mean I know what means to love, cheer and praising the NBA player like a NBA fan, but this story about you and Cuttino...???
CRISCO KIDD - at least I manage to write something thats originaly mine, and not quoting some other guy's post. It's not hard, you should try it. But take my advice - slowwwwwwly.
ARTVANDOLET - Please tell me, where can I find a Bull board.
CLUTCH - Nice theory about this sheep thing Clutch. At least I screw sheeps, but when I remember that you're from Houston, I realise that in this second you could be screwed by a BULL... or some cow. OH'MAN I RULE.
Although a nice post about me back than, you just have to be a man and let me post my reply, and not sending me to the banned list in the same second, after you post your final thought.

This should be all for now.
I just wanna know did I improved my English till now?

    BYE.

You still haven't answered one of our original questions. How the hell do you, a Bulls fan from Macedonia who sees the Rockets probably twice a year, know more about the Rockets than those of us here in Houston that see them 82 times a year? And how are you right and everyone else here and other fans throughout the NBA wrong? I guess we should just scrap the season right now and hail the Bulls the champions and hand Houston the #2 pick because you said so huh?
