http://sports.yahoo.com/news/source...r-deal-with-center-joey-dorsey-151151955.html Free agent Joey Dorsey has agreed to a two-year, $2 million deal with the Houston Rockets, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Dorsey, a 6-foot-9, 275-pound center, will play a backup role to All-Star Dwight Howard. Dorsey, 30, played for FC Barcelona in Spain this past season where he was a starter on a Euroleague Final Four team. After joining the NBA as a Rockets second-round pick out of Memphis in 2008, Dorsey played in Sacramento and Toronto before spending the next several years in Turkey, Greece and Spain.
I came across Woj's twitter page and noticed he thinks we're in conversations with Trevor Ariza. I think he can be a pretty solid signing for us. He plays great wing defense, and if he can bring the shooting he had last season in Washington, this could really workout for us.
So have we received the results of Yao's MRI? I hope he doesn't have to retire. How the hell are we going to get another star duo?
That'd be a good signing. I think he'd fit in well with Brooks, Battier, and Scola. But man, we really need to try to swing a trade for a star at some point. I know its a pipedream but that guy with the beard from OKC would look good in a Rockets uni
I doubt he would sign with us though, why leave that backcourt in DC?!? He's also going to want WAAAAYY too much money coming off a career year, especially considering Parsons just signed Dallas' offer sheet for 3 yrs, $45 million!!!
