Clearly the Rockets are sending strong messages that the health of Yao Ming is in doubt; in the same vein that picking up Jacobsen means that Novak's coming along slower than management prefers and the signing of Kelenna Azubuike probably ends the Luther Head Era in Houston. Everyone knows that training camp invites aren't exactly given away freely to just anybody who happened to have a decent summer league; the only thing more foretelling of future roster moves are Sam Smith, Peter Vescey and Chad Ford trade rumors. I don't need a Rocket Insider to know that a move right before training camp is imminent; it will probably be some extremely lopsided deal for Rashard Lewis where Houston gives up Juwan Howard, who makes this team terrible, yet will suddenly become a positive veteran influence in Seattle... While we're on the subject of trades, how about that Shane Battier for #8/Swift deal? We sure haven't talked about that enough, have we? Glad to get all that off my chest. I like the signing big guys are fantastic training camp fodder, and in the rare chance he makes the team, I'd definitely take Mark Madsen for 10mpg behind Yao Ming and Dikembe Mutombo. I could definitely see Haryasz teaming up with Spanoulis next year to make Clyde get fired for mispronunciation....
