It just seemed like to me during tonight's game that the Rockets organization, coaching staff and even the commentators all are showcasing tradeable assets such as Buddinger, Hill, Lee and Brooks..... Seems like somethings cookin...... What say you?
So because the players are playing well we are showcasing them? If it were that easy to just get our second unit to play well. "Hey guys, showcasing time. Do your thang."
He may have a point. Suddenly, Jordan Hill is back above Patterson in the rotation. I think Morey may have "helped" Adelman with that decision.
I think you guys are right... Maybe I was reading too much into it... But seems like Adelman is jsut looking for ANYTHING to get them going....... Or else he'll get going otherwise........
This makes no sense.. Because they are playing well they're being showcased? If there was a button, why not just leave it on?

The whole idea of showcasing is stupid. Is a team going to base a trade around this game moreso than the years a player like Brooks has been in the league? Especially a year like last where he won Most Improved Player?
Patterson was getting into games before Jordan Hill, at both the PF & C position, when they were both healthy. Hill's injury was irrelevant. Either the Rockets are looking to showcase Jordan Hill or he's moved back past Patterson in the rotation from practice. There was a report the other day, which a lot of people thought was strategical written, mentioning Hill's good practice.
Not really. Jan. 26th Jordan Hill... 5:40 P Patterson.. 19:58 Jan. 27th Jordan Hill... 10:15 P Patterson.. 16:25 Jan. 29th Jordan Hill... 11:04 P Patterson.. 20:17 Feb. 1st Jordan Hill... 2:46 (injured) P Patterson.. 17:53 Feb. 12 (Jordan Hill's 1st game back) Jordan Hill... 22:26 P Patterson.. 1:36 ...like I said. He's either being showcased for a trade or he's earned his spot back in the rotation over Patterson in practice (which isn't out of the question). Patterson definitely passed him on the depth chart prior to his injury.
