I hope he lands on his feet. Does this impend an SP retention?

3.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in 9.5 mins of action ain't bad. I'd cut Jacobson first.

1 down. 3 more to still be cut. The decisions seem like hard ones.

This probably means Scott is a keeper.

I actually don't think that Jacobsen will be released. I think the rockets would be best served to hold on to Padgett and Jacobsen (they provide great shooting), and to release Azuibuke, Bowen, and get Sura off the books some how. Guys that can make shots are a premium for this squad.

Thanks for your service Matt Haryasz. I had hoped that you would be a decent back up center, but you were obviously not quite NBA material. Go to Europe, you could have a long and prosperous career there.

The next three cut will probably be that McStady guy or what ever his name is. That really tall guy. And that guy from Duke who we gave up Rudy Homo for. They all looked okay, but just can't really compete will all else that we have to offer.

Darn, are you guys really that happy Haryasz is gone?

I saw him briefly on the bench in last night's game on TV. The kid looked quite subdued. :(

    1 star to this news.

For whatever reason, do you think Scotty could mold himself into a Dirk Stopper like Ryan Bowen did in 05. Even if he could slow him down for isolated 5 minute stretches and be a threat from the arc...which Ryan never was?
I know this is dumb, but that way Scotty could be our offensive and defensive Bowen/hustling/rebounding effort/3pt player

btw--why are we advertising a link for Dallas Mavericks online store at the bottom of our page. Doesn't that violate some kind of ethical standard? It is at the least in poor taste

Or has this site sold out to the enemy for the almighty dollar  :D j/k[IMG]

I'm actually surprised. I thought he was going to be a backup center.

He'll be back, just like Chuck Hayes.
