Well guys, I hate to say I told you so! But, I told you so! It is over for this team as long as TMAC is not on the court. Whether you advocate tanking it or not, the ROX are doing a mighty fine job of "Tanking IT". This has to be the most basketball challenged team in the league. These players are awful. And the sad thing about it is that everybody know it but the ROX. Aside for Yao, Swift, Head, Howard, Deke, and Skip, not of them even deserve to be in the league. What other team can you find such hapless ballers as Ryan "Spastic" Bowen, Richie "Itchy" Frahm, Keith "Brick" Bogans, Rick "The Dribble" Brunson, and Chuck "Where's Elvin" Hayes. You cannot look at the rosters of other teams in the league and find me fiive worst players than these! Tryit! It is not possible! These guys are plain terrible. These misfits were hand picked by Van Gumby! This is a joke! I look at Dallas and they find players all over the world. They do not have one dimensional players on their roster. They have players that have size skill and athleticism. Not to mention, they can make a shot some times! Every time I watch the ROX, I am embarrassed to be a fan. We deserve a better product than this. If a team is really a well put together team and balanced, then the lost of one player(TMAC) should not send your entire seasoin in the tank. I know some of you ROX apologist will say, Sura was out, Anderson was out and Yao was out. But this is what you get when you try to build a team with just two players! Every team faces injuries! But the way the ROX view players to add to this roster in the event of injuries is a joke. I know why the Toyota Center is empty and it will continue to be empty until Van Gumby packs his bags and heads for the hills!!!! Hey guys, Dont hate, I'm just telling it like I see it!
Wow...what an influx of great threads lately. You can add up the ratings of all the threads on the top half of the page and it still doesn't equal five stars. This thread may warrant a negative rating... Just to set the record straight, kerry, the following players have missed significant time: Yao, Tracy, Swift, Sura, Barry, and Wesley. I don't count Andersen. You take the top two players and three or four rotation players out for any team in the league and they are in the same position as the Rockets if not worse. And building a team around two players DOES work. We've won with that before. So have the Lakers, Spurs, and Bulls.
I agree that the supporting cast of the current Rockets might be the most untalented group in the league. A healthy TMac and a healthy Ming playing all season at top form does not take this group into the playoffs. We will never know for sure, but, personally, based on what I have seen, this group was going nowhere. They are horrible, and feel free to throw Alston, Swift, and even Howard into the mix. If big changes aren't made, the Rockets will prove my thesis next season. Stars can drag scrubs only so far.
LOL! Sorry guys, but I got a chuckle out of this part. Hate to say it, but he has a point. This team is MISERABLE and UNWATCHABLE without McGrady healthy and performing.
And outside of McGrady healthy and Yao, this team is unwatchable anyways. I miss last season's Rockets, oh well.

Yeah, I'm sure the majority of the guys we had on the floor last nite were penciled in as starters on this team when the season started Brunson, Brahm, Head.........all these guy were "expected" to play huge minutes for us, right? Please.
